Perfect pied-à-terre with Space Needle view!
Description
Perfect little pied-à-terre studio with Space Needle view in an historic building, with easy access to everything Seattle has to offer! Just a short walk from Pike Place Market, the waterfront, Space Needle/Seattle Center, downtown, and Amazon HQ. Excellent food/drinks/groceries. Great for groups and business travelers alike! Please note that this is a downtown urban neighborhood, and is in a secured building, so there are multiple check-in/-out steps required to ensure everyone's safety. The space Cozy 460-sq-ft STUDIO home in an historic building with original exposed-brick wall from 1890 and great view of the Space Needle (perfect for watching the New Year's Eve fireworks!). Very walkable central location just 5 blocks from Pike Place Market, 3 blocks from the waterfront, and 10 blocks from the Space Needle, Seattle Center, downtown Seattle, and Amazon HQ, with multiple public transportation options. Fully furnished with Mohawk flooring (installed January 2022) and in-unit laundry (LG washer and dryer). Queen bed in sleeping nook has premium Purple mattress with down duvet, down pillows, and high-quality white linens. New leather sleeper sofa (purchased February 2022) extends into a queen bed to accommodate an additional two guests. (Guests may need to reposition the sofa in order to use as a pullout during the summer when the portable AC unit is set up in the window.) Fully-functioning kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, and refrigerator. Multi-function coffee maker, coffee/tea, electric kettle, and toaster also provided, as well as high-quality cookware, bakeware, and utensils. Full bathroom with shower over tub has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, along with hair dryer for your convenience. Desk with rolling office chair is a perfect work-from-home space, with high-speed (100+ mbps down-/upload) fiber optic internet and smart TV! Guests will have full and exclusive access to the property. Please note that self-check-in is NOT available for any units in the building due to security issues -- for initial check-in, guests MUST call the host via the call box at the building front door to be buzzed in (required by HOA). Once guests have entered the unit itself (keypad lock on unit door), the keychain includes a fob (to open the building front door as well as for garage access) that allows guests to come and go as they please. The building is secured, so please be aware that there are multiple steps required for check-in/-out to ensure everyone's safety, which may be a little more complicated for guests who are not familiar with secured buildings. Belltown is the neighborhood right next to what is considered the downtown core. It is an urban area, so please note that there can be noise — garbage trucks and people are frequently in the alley (which the unit faces), there are people out and about late (lots of bars and restaurants), etc. Running the AC (or on fan mode) can help drown out the unfamiliar noise/provide white noise at night. This is also my home when I am in Seattle, so cleanliness is very important to me! I have a professional cleaner come after each guest, and it takes 3+ hours to completely clean the space from top to bottom. This not only ensures a great guest experience for you but also supports a local self-employed family at a living wage -- the whole cleaning fee goes to my cleaner (I do not make any profit from the cleaning fee). Please note that this also means I cannot accommodate early check-in or late check-out (except on a very rare case-by-case basis) because there is usually a guest checking out the morning you arrive and another guest checking in the afternoon after you leave, and my cleaner needs the full time in between to thoroughly clean the unit. I can send luggage storage options if needed. Guest access Guests will have full and exclusive access to the property and dedicated parking space in the secure underground garage. Unit door has keypad lock, but the secure building requires the fob to access the building front door, elevator, and garage. Easily walkable to multiple sights and destinations, and multiple public transportation options also available. Please note that the clearance in the garage is quite low at 6'7" -- taller vehicles will need to park on the street. Paid street parking (metered Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 8 PM, payable through the payment machine on each block using your car license plate, or through parking app) is readily available (though can be challenging on Friday/Saturday evenings). There is also a large paid parking lot right next to (south side of) the building. Other things to note Central courtyard with trees, plants, and outdoor furniture is 24-hour-quiet common area. There is also a furnished rooftop deck with a view of the Space Needle that is open to all guests. Registration Details STR-OPLI-22-000048
