Dogwood Den - Family Friendly Cabin in Arnold

Stay at Dogwood Den, a family-friendly, clean and comfortable cabin in Blue Lake Springs, Arnold. The home is a perfect getaway for families to enjoy nature during this time. We are near all the fun activities in Calaveras Country like hiking in Big Trees State Park, wine tasting in Murphys, and skiing at Bear Valley. The cabin has all the amenities you need to make this a warm and inviting place to relax during your Sierra vacation. The space *CABIN LAYOUT* - The cabin's main floor features an open concept dining room, living room and kitchen, a bedroom with king bed, and a bathroom. Upstairs includes an enclosed bedroom with king bed, single bed and crib, a bathroom, and a loft with a full/double bed and 3 single beds. (No scary railings!) *CABIN FEATURES* - Central heating and cooling to make your stay comfortable year round. - Gas fireplace - a great place to warm your feet during the colder months. - High speed internet and a smart TV with Chromecast for all your entertainment needs. - Deck features a gas BBQ, picnic table and adirondack chairs with bistro lighting for enjoying dinner outside on warm summer nights, where you are sure to see deer, rabbits, and other wildlife foraging in the yard. - Kitchen comes fully stocked with dinnerware for 10, quality knives and cookware, a dishwasher, and appliances like a Kitchen Aid, blender, coffee maker, toaster, and more. Also, in the kitchen, we retrofitted the original vintage wall-mounted stereo with Bluetooth enabled speakers so you can listen to tunes while you cook. - Amenities provided - Hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray, soap, shampoo and conditioner, hairdryer, toilet paper, paper towels, linens, towels, and washing machine/dryer with laundry detergent. - Nest security cameras are installed near the garage and front deck. You can disable them during your stay for your privacy. - Please note: Counter tops are approx. 2” higher than standard. No 4x4 required on property as driveway is flat and contains a wraparound driveway which means no backing out or reversing in snowy conditions! During this time we have made slight changes to our amenities and booking requirements. We require at least 1 full day between bookings to allow our cleaners to thoroughly clean and disinfect the home to CDC standards. We have also temporarily put away the children's toys and books.
