Located near 4 different wine making regions (Russian River, Dry Creek, Alexander Valley and Anderson Valley), you will have access to everything from cool climate pinot noir to hot weather zinfandel. The area features many excellent restaurants, as well as outdoor activities such as boating/fishing on Lake Sonoma, hiking in Armstrong Woods near Guerneville, or kayaking the Russian River. Of course, my favorite thing to do is just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Our home is a modern open design with expansive decks on both sides of the living area. Built by BluHomes on Mare Island, CA, it was largely assembled in an old periscope-submarine factory and then brought on site and placed on its foundation. It features 3 bedrooms with queen beds & 4 full baths. One of the bedrooms is smaller without a closet, but hooks on the walls to hang items. The cook’s kitchen with wine fridge and six burner gas Wolf range has all the basics you need to make a wonderful meal, along with a propane BBQ outside. The open living area features a dining table (seats 8) and sectional sofa with 55” TV with Apple TV for streaming Netflix/Hulu (note: we do not have live TV/cable). Wake up to warm floors from the radiant floor heating and or cool down with AC and ceiling fans. Washer/dryer available for use. Please note, bedrooms do not have individual televisions. * Per City of Healdsburg code, home available for rentals >30 days only within the city limits. Feel free to message me with any questions you have about this. Guest access Whole house is for your use. Feel free to use any of the items in the kitchen, just replace if you run out. Some closets and garage access are restricted for owners’ storage. This is our part time home and not a 100% rental unit so we do have personal areas of the home restricted and labelled. Please note parking for guests is uncovered in the driveway. No garage parking. Max: 3 cars in driveway at one time as the space to turn around is limited Other things to note Because we have a distant view of the 101 freeway and are adjacent to a main road in town, you may notice some traffic noise on the decks outside and at night with windows open inside. If you are sensitive to noise, please be aware of this. Our home is on a boiler system, not a hot water tank and this is located on the Master BR side of the house. Even though there's a pump to the other side including the bathroom and kitchen, there is a delay for hot water to reach that side of the house of approx 10 minutes. Lastly, we do have exterior security cameras directed at the driveway, front door and back door. Hope this does not bother you--we have found it helpful when we are away.
