Rental unit in Lubec

OCEANVIEW APARTMENT—Lubec Crow’s Nest is a second floor studio apartment above our garage in the village of Lubec with a commanding view of the Lubec Channel Light (what the locals affectionately call “the sparkplug”), as well as the Canadian islands of Campobello and Grand Manan. The space The apartment is small—just 16 x 24 feet—so we only allow a maximum of 2 people to spend the night, but it has a lot of premium features, such as a slate and marble bathroom with a 12” square rain shower-head and hand shower wand. The bed is a queen-size firm memory foam mattress on top of a futon mattress. The kitchen has a Bosch dishwasher, an Amana gas stove, and a gorgeous granite countertop. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator/freezer, and a nice coffeemaker and other essential tools and utensils. The floors in the living area are oil and wax finished white oak—no plastic coatings between your feet and the wood. The apartment does not come with cable TV, but it does have Wi-fi internet, an Apple TV for streaming, and a stereo with subwoofer. Also, there's a small Samick console piano (yes, a real piano) for those visiting Lubec for Summerkeys. Guest access Guests have the whole apartment to themselves, as well as the porch outside, and can use the yard as they want. The entrance to the apartment is up a flight of stairs on the side of our garage. It is a private entrance. Entry is via a keyless lock you can control with your smartphone or with a numerical code. Other things to note We have limited parking space for vehicles, so we request you only bring one regular size (or smaller) vehicle.
