Hill House Holiday Cottage was built in 1679 but now renovated to a very high standard; for guests who want to visit this beautiful corner of Cumbria; the owners have retained the original character and charm of the cottage whilst ensuring guests have all the modern day luxuries to provide a true home away from home holiday experience. With underfloor heating; a log burner; Netflix & fantastic hot rainwater showers; you will have a truly wonderful and tranquil holiday experience. The space Children - Regrettably due to the stone staircase etc. the cottage is not really suitable for children under the age of 10. Dogs - We are happy to welcome one well behaved dog to our cottage; for more than one dog please contact us. Whilst we are a dog friendly property, there are a few points to consider prior to bringing your pet:- We do not allow dogs in the bedrooms and would ask they remain in the living area. We ask that pets are not allowed to climb on or scratch the furniture. Dogs must NOT be left unattended in the property at any time. On request we can provide a Fire Guard, Dog Mat, Dog Towel and food bowl. There is a charge from £20 per dog per stay which is added to your booking. New this year - Car Charger on site - EV charger (charges apply 36p per Kwh). Outside lockable storage for bikes/golf clubs.
