4 Room, 11 ppl backpackers Style house - Tonypandy

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. Whether you want to hike, mountain bike, shop in nearby Cardiff or relax by a lake you can do it all from our three story property. Right next to Tonypandy train station (3 minutes walk) there is easy access to all that South Wales has to offer. The train station has a direct train to Cardiff and last train home is around 11pm. The space Our property offers basic, no-frills, budget-friendly accommodation designed for backpackers or workers looking for a cheap place to crash. At £10 a head, it is cheaper than a camping tent. The furnishings are older and show standard wear-and-tear. If you are looking for hotel luxury, this will not be a good fit. This is a hostel like accommodation with many upgrades as it will only be used by your group. On the ground floor there is a drying room/ hallway as you come through the front door. Then enter into the open plan lounge/ kitchen/ dining area. Through the kitchen there is a door to the bathroom which has a toilet, sink and bath. On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms: 1 double - suitable for 2 adults max. The double bedroom has an en-suite with toilet, sink and shower. 1 bunk room with 2 bunk beds - suitable for up to 4 children or 2 adults and 2 children (upper bunks not suitable for adults due to size and weight). On the 2nd floor there is a further 2 bedrooms with mountain views. One containing a double bed and basic en-suite and the other containing a double bed and one single bed. So can sleep 2 adults and a child. All essentials such as cutlery, plates, glasses, mugs, bowls, utensils etc are included. Guest access It is best to park in the free car park opposite the bingo hall and ascend the 50ish steps which lead to the side of the property 99A. (See photo). There is a train station at the bottom of the steps (Tonypandy station) and also a bingo hall. Tonypandy town centre is a short walk (5-10 minutes) across the bridge next to the train station. There are numerous mountains within walking distance great for hiking/ mountain biking/ or picnics with gorgeous views! Other things to note The Welsh council are very particular about the bins and we will be fined for anything put in the wrong bins. Please separate rubbish according to the labelled bins. Tonypandy is an old Welsh mining town in the valleys it has basic shops but is not a picturesque holiday location. If you want mountains to walk around and dry off after a long day out, this is a great location for that. If you want to go mountain biking, be out all day doing activities or going to do the zip line, coming back from a long day to cook dinner, the property is set up for this. If you want a luxury picturesque holiday location, modern furniture and want to stay in all day, this is probably not the place for you. The furniture is designed to be lightweight and moveable, the property has gas central heating, two en-suites and a main bathroom, the kitchen has lots of utensils and extra plates, with a dishwasher. The main entrance is on an alley way, with steep steps to access, the property is built on the side of a mountain and does suffer from intense rain and wind. Thank you
