Cozy town home in the Historic District just steps from vibrant, happening Market Street. Restaurants, shops, entertainment, and craft beverage establishments abound. Just a short walk to blossoming East Street and Shab Row for more dining and shopping options. Convenient to historical parks, mountain recreation areas, wineries, breweries, distilleries, wedding venues, craft fairs, farmer's markets, and local events and attractions. Free parking included! The space This home features a private driveway and a fenced side yard with furniture for relaxation. Rental includes full access to the entire house, including both double-occupancy bedrooms, a full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer in basement. The house is over 100 years old and has some unique features including staircases that are narrow and steep, a bathroom located on the second floor, steam radiators that hiss, and floors that are not perfectly level. This house is not recommended for people with physical disabilities or families with young children. Guest access Entire town house Other things to note In an effort to reduce our plastic footprint, a Brita water filtration pitcher is available in lieu of bottled water. Coffee, tea and standard fixings are in the pantry. The age of the house allows for very few square corners or level floors. Super-light sleepers will want to know the steam radiator heating system emits intermittent hisses of air when the heat is on. The thermostat for the heat is on the wall in the dining room. Extra blankets are available in each bedroom closet. There are two beds to be shared by up to four guests. We appreciate your cooperation not to use the couch as a bed. Parking is permitted on the street, except for street cleaning overnight Thursday into Friday morning. Exact times are posted on street signs on 7th Street, but not directly in front of the house.
