Relax and unplug in this secluded 2-loft, fully furnished custom log cabin nestled in the middle of 5 private acres. Mingle with Bald eagles, owls, hawks, deer and more in your back yard. Experience a quite natural setting minutes from the Guemes Island ferry. The space Quintessential log cabin in the woods, in the middle of an island, secluded, yet accessable. A woodstove, skylights, and old world feel, with modern amenities. Both beds are accessible via ladders as the two bedroom spaces are in lofts. We welcome pets. Guest access Please note, we needs 48 hour prior notice to book. Due to covid, self check in only. We ask that you call us once onsite to walk your through the space. There is a short walk (about 40 yards) from the car park area to the cabin. Any time before mid summer, the walk across the lawn will be wet and a bit muddy. We recommend boots. Not appropriate for elderly, disabled, or obese people. Guest will experience the entire property. Other things to note We highly recommend checking the status of the ferry before you start your journey. it does break down from time to time. check status at linetime.org. Please note, there are coyotes on the island. We recommned not leaving pets out after dark unattended. We ask that you please pick up after your pets, both inside and out. please remove excess pet hair and debris from cabin, and droppings outside. this will help keep cleaning costs down. If excessive hair, debris or droppings are left behind, an additional fee of $50 will be added to your cost. A beach walk on Lervick lane, or a short hike to the top of the mountain for a beautiful 360 degree view. the cabin is not setup to accomidate elderly, disabled, or obese people.
