The home is a cozy home with all amenities. The guest room has a view of the lake; walking & bike trails around the lake with horse stables within walking distance. We are close to Metra Train stations--a gateway to Chicago. 21 minutes from Great Lakes Naval Base. We appreciate your military service and would be honored to host. The space Quiet and cozy with open floor plan and outside patio and swing for relaxing. Guest access All except master suite and personal office. During your stay We can be part of your experience or we can give you your space. Please let us know. Other things to note Please note that there are two rooms that I rent in my home, one with a Queen and one with a Twin. Should both rooms be rented at the same time, the guest bathroom is shared. There is a third half bathroom on the first floor as well. If you are booking the Queen, please be sure to provide an Identification for security purposes for both you and your guest (if more than 1 person) when booking your reservation. Remember, Air BnB requires those booking must have their own profiles (cannot book for someone else). Please be mindful that you are staying in someone's home who lives on premise, as opposed to a 24 hour hotel. For those requiring a more private setting, perhaps a non- owner occupied AirBnB might be what you are looking for? A key is not provided to guests for security reasons; therefore, please be sure to communicate with the host your intentions of schedules and activities, particularly for later night or earlier morning arrivals or departures. My preference is to have guests in before 10 pm if at all possible during the week. Finally, please be sure to consider there are multiple rooms rented. May I respectfully ask to be mindful of personal hygiene, particularly in the summer months. The city doesn't allow street parking from 2 to 5 am. FYI Please note AirBnB does not allow parties on property. We do not rent to those younger than 25 years old unless a college student attending College of Lake County (please provide proof). Please provide a copy of your driver's license as part of AirBnB verification process to protect all parties.
