Located on a gorgeous south-facing hillside in Marlboro, VT, Shakespeare's Folly Side Farm is a light, airy, quiet apartment with stunning views, beautiful gardens, and walking paths. We have friendly a dog, vegetable and flower gardens and a small orchard, with raspberries and blueberries. Free picking in the summer. A magical and inspiring place of rolling lawns and 40 mile views yet so close to the many rich cultural and recreational options in southeast Vermont. The space The apartment has big, south-facing windows with stunning views. The beautiful rustic wood panel walls were cut from this land. The apartment colors are subdued, peaceful, light and airy. Every room is comfortable but clean and attractive. The apartment has a wide-screen TV with Roku. You're welcome to use our Netflix account. There is a DVD player and a selection of family-friendly DVDs. WiFi on site for phone and internet access. Guest access Once you arrive at The Farm and park in the designated BNB parking spot, you will be greeted by Rosie. She is an Italian Maremma sheepdog. You will walk down a set of 14 outdoor steps that take you to the ground floor apartment entrance. This is not wheelchair accessible but there are rails on the stairs for anyone needing additional stability when walking up or down the outdoor stairs. Guest stays are limited to no more than 30 days during the summer and fall season. Other things to note We do not charge you a cleaning fee because we believe our guests will clean up after themselves and leave the apartment as they found it. Read the handbook and it will describe how to deal with the towels and linens and blankets etc.. If you follow the handbook you will get a high rating.
