There are also new blinds in each bedroom, they are not pictured in all the photos. We also offer a porta cot if need be. Please ask. Time is taken to ensure comfort during stays, so we have plenty of wood, set up and ready to go for a cozy fire in these winter months. Spare wood can be found under the seating on the front deck. There are also hot water bottles, woollen blankets and a heater, stored in the main bedroom. The kitchen is set up for lots of cooking requirements. A blender, pots, pans, baking trays and pans, coffee making, toaster. As well as a pantry with yum condiments, coffee, tea, nut milks, breaky foods and extras to add to your kitchen creations. There is also plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware. There are also new blinds in the kitchen to allow for privacy. We also supply a water filter, but the water straight from the tap is drinkable, fresh from a spring up the hill. The bathroom is something special. You'll find a vintage claw foot bath that the bathroom was created and renovated around, with shower above. Its set beside the round window, looking out to the garden and trees. Please use the fan when in the bathroom during your stay. The dinning and lounge are open plan, with vintage chair and dining table. A beautiful loved couch to relax in front of the fire. The front sunroom comes off the main king bedroom. A piano and desk await, with beautiful views of the garden. The house was renovated with the intention to create a sense of calm, comfort and to slow down. It harkens back to the simple things, though still holds some modern comforts. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin, the front gardens are just for cabin guests, but your free to wander throughout the property and up near the chooks. If you would like access to the laundry please let us know beforehand. As we use it also for cleaning and washing after guests. We ask you to be mindful of people staying in the tiny house, so not walking up to their windows. If you want to see inside your welcome to check out the photos on the listing: The Tiny house in the Rainforest. Other things to note Spare fire wood under the seating on front deck. More in the carport. It can be fun to collect sticks among the neighbouring trees, for your evenings fire, otherwise there will be some in the space and more up in the carport. Blankets in storage at the end of bed, along with hot water bottles. Please use the fan in the bathroom for ventilation. Bring food for your stay, there is a fridge inside the space to store food, no freezer. Our kitchen is fully functional and should meet most cooking requirements, there is an electric oven with grill, gas burners, blender, kettle, toaster, coffee press. Towels, sheets, toiletries, coffee, nut milks and condiments are supplied. We also have plenty of books, magazines and some puzzles. As well as the piano. There is another tiny house on the neighbouring property. But it’s a paused project, so no one there and that side of the house remains private. The bath is an antique. But still completely functional, though you may notice a small amount of rust by the plug, which is totally fine, with the plug still working. Please note that because it is old and so loved, it isn't pristine white. It gets thoroughly cleaned after every stay however, so trust that this is just a rustic finish and natural wear of a bath of this age. Please understand, while at the property, you may encounter some animals or insects, such as possums, deer, wallabies, spiders, lizards, birds and that you're sharing the grounds with them too. As we are surrounded by the forest.
