Peaceful Hayloft near the sea

Situated the picturesque village of Gileston in the grounds of the 400 year old Grade II listed thatched cottage, Rose Cottage. The property is 10 minutes walk away from the beautiful Glamorgan Heritage coast and the Welsh Coastal path. There are loads of beautiful walks nearby aswell as two pubs (15 minute walk) and a large co-op (10 minute walk). Wedding venue Gileston Manor is a 1 minute walk away. Great access to Cardiff Airport, Cardiff Stadium, the Principality Stadium and the city centre. The space The space is perfect or couple or a small family - it comfortably sleeps 4 with a double bed on the mezzanine floor and a comfortable double sofa bed in the living room. There's a fully appointed kitchen with oven, 2 burner hob and fridge and bathroom with luxury shower. Cosy underfloor heating (new for winter '23/24) and radiators. The space itself has an open plan living and dining area with small TV a compact kitchen leading off to the bathroom. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor above the living room and is accessed by steep ladder stairs. Bed linen, towels and wifi included. Self check in available with keysafe. Guest access On street parking on a quiet road is available outside the cottage. Other things to note Dogs: We do accept well behaved pooches but please remember to add them as a guest because there's a supplementary cleaning charge. Please don't leave your dog in the annex unattended unless it's in a crate, some dogs and sofas don't mix. Accessibility: The ladder stairs to the mezzanine floor is fairly steep but there's comfortable also a double sofa bed downstairs if you don't fancy the hike.
