Requires quiet tenant to maintain peace with neighbors. No photo or video shoots, or social media brand content creation allowed in the space during stay. Apologies, no pets of any size allowed. White walls and real wood floors, plants throughout. Minimal, zen, artful decor. Large open concept sleeping room located on the tranquil backside of apartment. Comfy med-firm queen mattress, as well as single daybed sofa. Front foyer entrance room, opens on both sides to separate sleeping room from studio/work room. Large studio / office / dining room with 7 foot long table, with a great art book collection to inspire. **Absolutely no borrowing/taking books out of the apt.** (Record player in the pics is not currently in the space. Records are there.) Large closet for hanging clothes (many hangers) and suitcase storage, with barn-door style slider to separate the studio from foyer and sleeping room if desired. In closets, find: basketball (may need air from bike shop), tennis racket, and ping pong paddles/ball, to use in Tompkins Park at end of street. Fans, space heater, vacuum, swiffer. Full bath/shower with excellent water pressure. Natural hair/bath products for your use. Kitchen has gas stove and oven, as well as a large size toaster oven capable of cooking full meals, a modern electric kettle, and extra electric burners for those who prefer. French Press for coffee, an Omega juicer, and a blender. Clean fridge/freezer. Wonderful location on quiet 9th Street. Many wonderful restaurants (Mogador, Pylos), cafés (9th St Espresso, C&B), galleries, and shops nearby and within walking distance. Half a block from vibrant Tompkins Square Park. Near to the famous Russian Bath House sauna & steam spa, gyms, and yoga spots. Organic foods and juices (Juicy Lucy) down the street. Great wine shop (Brix) and cocktail bars near by. >Please know that this is an old original building with very little maintenance to the exterior (tagged up like a 90s dive bar), or entrance, and stairwell. The front door requires a hefty push to enter. The entrance is secure. Requires diligent locking up. Once in the apartment, you will find it super clean and fresh. >There is no doorman, and no mail or parcel service— sry, you cannot have mail sent to the building. No packages can be delivered unless you will be home to receive a text/call from the courier. ‘East Village Postal’ nearby is great and can collect mail for you. Call to confirm. Any boxes with this address need to be broken down and put in paper-only recycling to avoid a penalty fine.
