Enjoy picturesque nights watching the sunset over beautiful Lake Spier. We and animal friendly property but as that you keep them out of the lake and pool. (There are additional fees per pet). Please be aware we have 2 small children & 2 pups you may hear noise transfer from main house The space This adorable mother-in-law suite has lots of room to enjoy plus a fantastic shared backyard with an amazing view of Lake Spier (a very private quiet lake)! We have an incredible sunset most evenings, outdoor fireplace, putting green, hammock for that afternoon siesta and all the comforts of home. Upon arrival you will be greeted by all the comforts of home and additional items such as coffee, tea, milk, etc can be requested. All linens, towels, toiletries, plates, glasses and cutlery are set up for you to use. If you have any special requests please let us know so we can do our best to make you feel at home! The Unit shares a doorway to a closet which connects to our main house. We are a family of fun and laughter with two boy young and 2 little dogs! For this reason it is important our guests know that you may hear some noise. Many of the neighborhood kids like to come and play in our front yard as well. Our Dogs bark at delivery people and may bark at new guests but we highly encourage bribery with treats to allow the pups to get acquainted with you. We do our best to keep noise to a minimum from 9:30pm-8am. Most say they never hear more than muffles, but in order to make sure guests have the best stay possible and we all have clear expectations, we try to be as up front and honest as possible. If at anytime we are too loud we encourage guests to let us know so we can try and find solutions to further minimize any noise. We are a house of fun and laughter and encourage our children to play! We have two twin high quality memory foam mattresses that is usually configured as a King bed with topper mattress. If you would prefer two twins please be sure to let us know ahead of time. (Please note that it is either 2 twin beds OR 1 king bed but not both). We also have a memory foam hotel quality roll away beds and can get a second one upon request (must be requested in advance and number of people on booking must be appropriate to number of beds requested) We are on the back side of Baldwin Park right down the street from the dog park. Walk to all the restaurants and shops of Baldwin Park or go for a jog around Lake Baldwin. Only 10 minutes to Park Ave and Rollins College. 30-40 minutes to Disney. 20-30 Minutes to Sea World and Universal. We joke to family that everything worth doing is within 35 minutes (or less) of us! Most Sundays we sit out on the back covered patio and watch football where guests are always welcome to join us, or you can enjoy your own patio area with separate extendable awning. Wi-fi and Direct TV with NFL package and HBO included. We apologize in advance if you hear us yelling in excitement over how well (or how horrible) the NY Giants play that day! The apartment has its own private driveway and side entrance. Two large vehicles can park in the driveway. The apartment is roughly 750 sqft with full kitchen minus an oven. The microwave is a convection oven which you can use for baking. There is a gourmet toaster oven which can be used to bake most dished much like a traditional over, Or if you need a larger oven you are welcome to use our main house oven. We can provide just about anything you may need from air-frier to crockpot and everything in-between upon request. It is very important for us to meet and exceed our guests expectations and we are very open to feedback. If there is anything you feel is not perfect we truly want to hear about it right away so that any issues can be corrected immediately. Guest access Most times guests will be greeted on arrival and shown around. For cases where there is a last minute booking or arrival time conflicts with our schedules we have a lock-box key on property for you to access the property. We do have access to the Baldwin Park swimming pools and gyms upon request. Other things to note We have two kiddos under the age of five. We do our best to keep them quiet but anyone who has kids knows that there are meltdowns that cannot be avoided. Having said that, we have added an extra door between the cottage and the main house to reduce any noise. You may hear the kiddos from time to time. This is an animal friendly place but we do keep everything professionally cleaned and have an added fee of $100 for the first pet and $75 each additional pet per stay. Guest staying longer than a month will be required to have home cleaned each month for an extra charge of $100 per month. Please be aware that if you have severe allergies to cats or dogs this could be factor and you should not book with us. We allow guests to use the pool and Spa from 9am until 9pm. Swimming is at your own risk and under no circumstances is diving allowed as it is only a 4’ deep pool. The spa can be heated upon request (need at least 30 min notice). If you would like to use the spa more than two times a week there will be a fee of $15 per use after 2 free uses.
