Driftwood Cottage is a stylish self contained converted shed with panoramic 180 degree views. The walkway to the beach is across the road from the bottom of the property, short 5 mins stroll to the beach. Designed as a romantic getaway, with 4 post bed, hot tub & amazing night skies. Expansive outdoor deck with louvre pergola room and outdoor seating. BBQ available on request. Stay, play, relax and unwind. Also available onsite Tranquil Coastal Escape two bedroom guest suite, sleeps four. The space The separate bedroom features a beautiful four post bed with mirror & powder table to the side of the bed. The stylish lounge has amazing views of the sea and is well appointed with a comfy sofa and TV which has Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and TV1+ (local TV channel). The kitchen has a induction hob, multi function microwave, hand blender and fridge freezer. All pots, pans, crockery and cutlery provided. The spacious bathroom has a shower, toilet, vanity and washing machine. The sweeping outdoor deck & louvre pergola provide amazing outdoor living all year round. The separate spa pool area has incredible views and is accessed just below in the garden. New spa installed June 2022 with back massage jets and a recliner seat. Spa pool has exclusive use between 10am to 8pm, outside of these times can be approved We also have additional holiday accomodation a apartment below our main house that sleeps (4) people with two separate bedrooms with queen beds, a full kitchen, washing machine, lounge, dining area and a garden overlooking the sea. While not air conditioned, we have a tropical ceiling fan in the lounge, bedroom fan and evaporative cooler in place for the summer months. The guest house is fully insulated with double glazed windows and two heaters for the cooler months. Please note New Zealand is power is 220v-240v and a three point plug, if you are traveling from overseas you might need a power adapter. Guest access On site parking available. Guests arriving via ferry into Pineharbour Marina can picked up by arrangement. The beautiful Maraetai Beach is only a 5 minute walk down the hill with two cafes & an Indian restaurant available. The main shopping area of Beachlands is about a 5min drive away. Other things to note A Paddle board can be hired separately if required, subject to availability.
