Great view of the Tower of the Americas from your own perfect-for-pets private patio. Cute tiny living space made from an 8' x 20' shipping container--super for singles, cozy for couples. Heritage materials--vintage wood, glass, tile--throughout. Dedicated deck, bbq area, outdoor shower. Mini-fridge+sink (no kitchen). Private parking slot in alley. The space Walk, bike, scooter all around central San Antonio from this utterly unique tiny home. Moments from most San Antonio monuments (Alamo and the other Spanish Colonial Missions) and tourist attractions (Riverwalk), some of San Antonio's finest restaurants, best ice houses, hippest bars, terrific taco spots--most of which provide delivery, pick-up and/or take out options. Skim then splash and swim in the property's pool or soak in some San Antonio sunshine as you roll out of bed. There's even a private patio area for your dog--just make sure you pick up after him/her before you leave. We strive to maintain a COVID-free environment—all guests must be vaccinated against Covid-19 prior to arrival for the safety of everyone! Sorry, but we’re very serious about this. Guest access You'll have exclusive access to the tiny home and private fenced-in patio (great for pets) plus deck beneath the Tower of the Americas next to the 12' x24' swimming pool which you'll want to skim and splash and swim in from May to September. We hosts will share the pool with you for laps and leisure. Exclusive use of alley parking slot. Other things to note The Alley Cat is an "alley cat" meaning the site can be a little scruffy and rough on the edges--don't expect a pristine place, but if you're seeking privacy and quiet catnaps this place is purrrrrfect! Folks have celebrated birthdays and anniversaries here quite quite happily--they've even gotten engaged here! This Alley Cat offers romance, privacy and fun! And a pretty pool to skim then splash and swim in! We worry about our remote controls disappearing so please please please don't accidentally pack the remote control to the air conditioner/heater or the ceiling fan! Let us know immediately if you need help with the mini-split settings. Please let us know in advance if you’re bringing dogs (no cats allowed at this time)—tell us the breed(s), approximate weight(s) and the number of dogs you plan to bring (maximum 2), please! All pets must be fully vaccinated against Rabies virus and have received the “distemper shot” (against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus—DHPP). Remember to respect our request that the pool is for humans only, please! Spacious stash space under bed to store luggage. Please, please, please also let us know whether y’all have been fully-vaccinated for COVID-19. The Alley Cat can only accept guests who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Honesty matters!!! On our end, we are self-distancing and cleaning in response to COVID-19 protocols: - Self check-in provided - Private entrance, deck and gated patio (great for dogs) - Private parking slot close to unit provided - Mini-split air-conditioning - A dedicated pool skimmer is provided for guest use of skimming debris off pool. Note: there is considerable foliage around pool which may cause more debris than one is accustomed to at a pool, but the foliage helps keep the pool cool. - Rooms are ventilated before cleaning - Hands of cleaning staff are washed thoroughly before and after each time the unit is cleaned - Cleaning staff cleans, then disinfects with products recommended by the Environmental Protection Agency - Cleaning staff focuses on frequently touched surfaces - All linens and towels are well-washed - Vacuum cleaner are emptied after each cleaning session - Expiration dates are obeyed Registration Details STR-19-13500769
