The space Whether you’re in the mood for a cultural outing, a sporting activity, or simply want to enjoy the fresh air, our guesthouse offers plenty of opportunities to explore the beautiful surroundings: Enjoying the coast: Breathe in the fresh sea air in one of the nearby coastal villages, such as Sint Maartenszee, Callantsoog, or Petten. Take a walk along the beach, enjoy the breeze, or weather permitting take a refreshing dip in the sea. Springtime flower fields: In spring, the landscape transforms into a colorful palette of flowers. The vast bulb fields are wonderful to explore on foot or by bicycle. Walking through the West-Friesland landscape: Starting from the 'Tolke' hiking trailhead, you can enjoy beautiful walks along old tram routes, characteristic dike roads, and charming paths along canals and historic raised dwelling mounds (*terpen*). West-Frisian folklore in Schagen: Schagen is famous for its lively West-Frisian folklore events, featuring a festive parade of horse-drawn historic wagons and locals dressed in traditional West-Frisian costumes. For young and old: There is plenty to do in the town of Schagen itself. Visit the cinema, the swimming pool, or the bowling alley, for example. For those who love action, there is Scagaventure, offering activities such as go-karting, laser tag, and trampolining. Culture and relaxation: Visit a museum, discover an animal park, or enjoy a day out at an amusement park. There are also indoor activities available in the area for children if the weather isn't ideal.
