The space The Space Welcome to Denmark House, a luxury countryside retreat designed for families, friends, celebrations, corporate retreats and creative escapes. The house comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests, with 3 king bedrooms, 3 double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms. A double sofa bed is also available in the games room by prior request. If you would like this made up for your stay, please let us know when booking. Living & Dining The heart of the house is the bright and spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. With comfortable seating, a large open fireplace and a dining table seating up to 14 guests, it's the perfect space to gather, celebrate and relax together. The fully equipped kitchen features a 7-burner range cooker, generous preparation space and all the cookware, appliances and utensils you'll need, whether you're preparing breakfast for the family or hosting a special dinner. Large doors open directly onto the private patio and gardens, where you'll find beautiful countryside views and outdoor dining for up to 20 guests under the 80sqm pergola. Entertainment Denmark House offers three separate lounge areas, giving larger groups plenty of space to spread out. The main lounge is perfect for relaxing together. The newly refurbished snooker room on the first floor includes its own cosy TV snug. An additional 50m² entertainment lounge is available within the studio building (shown as Living Room 2 in the photos). Ideal for movie nights or extra entertaining space, this room is available by prior arrangement for an additional charge. All three lounges feature Smart HDTVs with streaming services, while surround sound is available in both main lounges. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Bedrooms The property offers a flexible layout ideal for groups: 3 King Bedrooms 3 Double Bedrooms 2 Single Bedrooms Double Sofa Bed (available on request) The first floor includes four bedrooms (one with an en-suite), two single bedrooms and a family bathroom, with the remaining bedrooms located elsewhere in the house. Location Set on the edge of the peaceful village of Blue Bell Hill, Denmark House enjoys stunning countryside views and beautiful walking routes straight from the doorstep. The neighbouring Squirrels Riding School & Café is just moments away, while a traditional country pub is within walking distance. Maidstone is only a 10-minute drive, and London can be reached in under an hour, making Denmark House the perfect countryside escape that's still close to the city. Perfectly positioned for exploring the Garden of England, you'll also be within easy reach of Canterbury, Rochester, Leeds Castle, the Kent Downs and the Kent coastline. Beauty & Wellness Our two on-site treatment rooms offer massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and lash and brow treatments. A 50% deposit is required when booking treatments. Professional Recording Studio Denmark House had been a residential world-class recording studio for over 20 years, recoding some of the biggest names in music. Our fully equipped studio is available by prior arrangement and is ideal for artists, producers, songwriting camps and creative retreats. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements. Private Chef Enjoy restaurant-quality dining without leaving the house. We can arrange a private chef for breakfast, lunch or a three-course dinner. Sample menus and prices are available on request. Guest access There is ample private parking directly in front of the house, (6 cars) which is set back from the road, providing easy access, privacy and plenty of space for multiple vehicles. There is also free parking on Common Road. I'd you require extra parking please let us know in advance. We will text you the door access codes before your arrival. Other things to note Optional Extras: Beauty treatments, the professional recording studio, private chef, photography, videography and the additional entertainment lounge (Living Room 2) are all available by prior arrangement and may incur an additional charge. Please contact us before your stay for availability and pricing. Sofa Bed: The double sofa bed in the games room is only made up on request. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to use it. Parking: There is ample private parking directly in front of the house. Please park only in the designated parking area and avoid parking on the riding school driveway or stable yard, as these are private and in regular use. Neighbourhood: Denmark House is located in a peaceful countryside setting with neighbouring properties nearby. We kindly ask guests to be respectful of our neighbours, particularly when outdoors during the evening. Outdoor Areas: Please avoid loud music and excessive noise outside after 9:00 pm so everyone can enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Fireplace: Firewood can be provided on request. Please use the fireplace responsibly and never leave it unattended. Wi-Fi & Entertainment: High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and Smart TVs are provided in all three lounge areas with access to popular streaming services.
