It is quiet at night except for the occasional hoot-owl, fox chatter and the peepers (crickets). We live in a 3 level house. This is the downstairs level and it has its own entrance. There is a living room, kitchen with small table, full bath with laundry and one bedroom with a queen size bed. You may hear us upstairs once and awhile but we try to stay quiet for you. Password available upon arrival. Quiet, natural habitat: we see forest deer, catch glimpses of and hear foxes, forest turtles come out once in awhile. At night you can hear hoot owls and sometimes a screech owl. Our neighbors below us are the best in the world and they grow organic flowers and produce. Our neighbors just below us have goats, sheep and few cats and dogs. They too are the nicest people you will meet. There is harmony and contentment of Gunther's Ridge. No city street lights coming into your bedroom at night. Ample room between houses, but you're still less than a mile from down town Abingdon. There is a local transit bus. Call for location pickup. The bus does not go door to door though. The closet pickup would be The Coomes Recreation Center, about .5 miles from our house. We are 1 mile from downtown Abingdon. My husband is a weaver of fine craft and has his own working studio. I am a bead weaver and work at different stations in our home.
