Room in 18th century farmhouse

Myriam and Piet welcome you to our small village, in an oasis of peace with a beautiful view of the meadows next to us, the valley, the Bois du Bruel. Recharge your batteries with us. You will stay in a farmhouse (18th century), where since 2021 two rooms and the ground floor have been renovated with respect for tradition and with sustainable quality materials. Relax in the garden, in the hammock, enjoy good food with us, hike, bike, discover beautiful villages of the region, real vacation in other words. The space You enter 1 large pleasant room of 50m2 with a living room and dining table. At the end of 2021, a new kitchen and a wood-burning stove were installed here. When you book the B&B formula, you can use the kitchen for coffee, tea, water, not to actually cook. This space features 2 original antique built-in cabinets. The stairs lead you to 2 bedrooms, a shared bathroom with shower, bath and a shared separate toilet. The double bed is spacious: 220 cm. In addition, there is a sofa that can be used as an extra bed once unfolded. The bedroom has a lot of light due to 2 Velux windows (opening and darkening via remote control). The bathroom has a rain shower, bath and 2 natural stone washbasins. You share the bathroom and toilet with the other room. At the front, there is a pleasant balcony overlooking the 2 barns, and in the evening there is still a lot of sun here. At the back you have the morning and afternoon sun, and here you will find a garden with a lawn and old apple and pear trees, flowers. Here you will certainly find a private place for yourself. Further in the garden, there is a vegetable garden and orchard under construction. You can walk down the 7ha grounds into the valley in the meadows of the horses. Guest access We have a private parking lot next to the house, where you can park safely. Next to this, we also have a hangar for any bicycles or motorcycles. Dinner is possible with advance notice (1 day in advance). Price for dinner 2 courses = 20 Euro/person, 3 courses: 25 Euro/person. From November to Easter, you can taste and buy homemade chocolate pralines. Chocolate workshops are possible all year round. Your host has been trained as a chef - chocolatier. We have 3 sweet cats and a dog in the house. In the yard and in the garden, 4 happy chickens and a rooster walk around. On the meadows we have 2 horses and a Shetland pony.
