The space A simple old style beach house with some modern functionality Silverleaves beach shack is ideal as a low-key weekend getaway or family holiday. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house - sleeping up to eight people in 3 bedrooms - one with king bed, another queen and a bunk room with 2 queen size beds. Main kitchen /living area has a large TV/DVD, split system heating/aircon, Nectre wood-fire with oven. Second living/bathroom/laundry has additional bar fridge, washer and dryer. Other things to note Silverleaves Beach Shack is 'old-style' in its proportions. The inside dining table seats 6 comfortably. There is a larger outdoor table on the deck for warm weather. please be aware that while the bedrooms are quite spacious the indoor living areas are not large - more to traditional 50s proportions. there is a an air conditioner in the main kitchen/living space only. we only use it in heatwave conditions. Our house is not child proof and there are definite hazards for small children. Because of this we are more comfortable with books that do not include children and we do NOT accept reservations that include children under 7 years of age. There is no fence between the back garden and the beach, no rails around the deck, a hand made ladder to the loft in one bedroom, which can be tricky to climb.
