Little Green House
Description
Little Green House is nestled in the Mule Mountains overlooking Tombstone Canyon (upper Main Street) with vast views of the mountains, sky and upper downtown including classic and deco government and religious buildings. It has small private cottage cozy comfort with a full kitchen, queen bed, bathroom with shower, central heating/cooling, Wi-Fi, coffee, tea, water. Shaded private patio. Private off street parking space at bottom of steps. The space Little Green House is one of Bisbee’s original “modern” miner’s shacks (1907 - elevation 5454’). The “big” house adjoining it was built 12 years later. It is located 2 blocks from Main Street and 1 block from Restaurants, Market and a gas station. Parking is available at end of driveway at bottom of steps. Guests take 26 steps up and follow stepped pathway up to the private entrance. When I bought the property in 1991, Little Green House was in its “original” condition, a simple board and batten miner’s shack. At that time its modern conveniences included a sink, toilet, space heater, single hanging light bulb, and metal frame bed (and generous lighting coming through the cracks). In 1992, my husband Eric installed new plumbing, electrical, interior walls and ceiling, flooring, a kitchen and bathroom. This spring (2018), we renovated those improvements into today’s classic, comfortable AirBnB guest ready experience. Pet friendly. Everyone is welcomed! LGH is licensed, has current A+ inspections (fire and building) and is fully insured as a rental. Guest access Little Green House has its own private parking, walkway, patio and entrance.
