Quiet open space studio apartment 15 min. from mid-coast area of Camden, Rockport, and Rockland, Maine. Apartment is large (1400 sq. ft.) sunny, bright, set in a large meadow with expansive views of blueberry fields and surrounding hills of Hope/Appleton. Fully equipped for a comfortable stay or retreat. Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families welcome. Comfortably sleeps 4. Note: Our well behaved dogs visit the barn downstairs from time to time. The space Apartment is on second floor of new/traditional Maine barn/garage. It is well lit, bright, comfortable with windows on 3 sides. The surrounding fields and hillsides are a lovely backdrop and beautiful in any weather or season. We love this space and the surrounding land. We think others will love staying here too. There is a king size bed and queen size bed upstairs (see pictures). The upstairs area is open to the living area downstairs and the two sleeping areas upstairs are also open to each other separated by a walking bridge seen in pictures, there are no doors, it's a large open studio space. The living room is spacious. The large bathroom is on the first floor. Soap, body wash, towels in the shower/bathroom. Tea/coffee, sugar/cream and very basic cooking materials (salt, pepper, olive oil) in kitchen. Full kitchen. There is also a dishwasher and dishwashing/dishwasher soap. There is a 36" flat screen TV available to hook up using your own streaming services. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment. There is an outside entrance via the deck and a downstairs internal entrance. The downstairs entry way is also available for shoes, coats, and in winter skis/snowshoes could also be stored there. Other things to note The barn is equipped with a generator in case of power outage. Fiber internet: We've had many people use the space for remote work since 2020. Recent WIFI test: 95 MPS upload 17 MBS download and latency 23.
