Cedarwood Guest Suite

The Cedarwood Guest Suite is a comfy and inviting place to stay. We love to host travelers from out of town or folks in between housing. With around 700sf, 2 adults max fit with a Full size Bed, or cozy up for a small family. We offer extra bedding options for children only. Full Bath for your use only. Kitchenette includes mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven. Access to main story kitchen included. The main kitchen is a shared space. This Suite is Semi Private, shared LR, back door entry. The space * While this listing is new, we have been hosting guests from all over the world for about 4 years now!! Just click on my profile pic and that will take you to our previous reviews from our previous location where we rented just a room. This space is much more private and separate from the main level of the house, though voices and sounds can still be heard especially from the shared guest living room!* This is a family friendly space. We have 2 kids that live with us in the main level, so you can expect to hear sounds. Enter your space through the large beautiful back yard. The back entry is shared with family in main level of house. The entrance is semi private, there is no door but the space is very separate from the house. Half a flight of stairs lead down to the cheerful daylight basement living room area, which is a shared adult space, it is semi-private. I will need to access the main laundry room during the day, and we use it for occasional quiet adult reading or working on our device. We can also give you as much space as you need, and we won’t be in the space if you need it more private. The living space leads into the private bedroom and kitchenette area. Lastly, walk through the kitchenette and it leads to the Private Full Bath. The main shared aspect is that the laundry room door is right off of your living room space. I welcome ideas on how to make it as private as possible for you while sharing the laundry space. You have access to the main level kitchen if your cooking needs exceed the kitchenette. Guest access The Guest Suite is located in our bright daylight basement. There is room for one Guest car in the main drive. Guests have a shared back entrance and can self check in when we are out. Guests may share the back yard, swingset, trampoline (in the summer) and back porch with the host family. Guests have a shared living area, private Bed, Kitchenette and Private Bath. Laundry is shared. We Love to meet new people and share space - with that being said, Privacy is one our highest priorities. I will always be working to improve the privacy of this unique space and appreciate ideas and input. Other things to note We are a No Shoes house! Please take your shoes off at the bottom of the stairs! We have a cat. She will probably not go in your space because she gets scared. Though, you may possibly see a cat and we are not allergy free.
