Under a mile from the Seafront, Kemp Town and the start of the North Lanes, our house is a great base for exploring Brighton. It is ideal for families. The house can comfortably sleep 7 +travel cot. Please let me know if you need this. Discount applies to 7 nights stays or longer. We have a travel cot - please message us so that we can make this available. Parking permits £4.00 per day. Peak times may have a minimum stay of 3 nights. Strictly no stags or hens parties.. The space The Queen's Park House has 4 bedrooms, 1 living room, 2 bathrooms (one of these is ensuite) and a kitchen/diner that opens up into the garden with bifold doors. The table can seat up to 8 people. The house has wooden floors throughout. The main bedroom is a loft conversion with a kingsize bed, shower and toilet ensuit with wardrobe and drawer space available. This room has great views out over Brighton. The second room is large and light and has a small double bed. The third bedroom is a single room. The fourth room has 2 single beds. The bathroom has toilet, basin and shower over bath. The living room has a three seat sofa, two seat sofa and lounge chair. It also has a woodburner making it very cosy in the winter months. There is an studio room downstairs (a door off the hallway) which will be locked as this is my workroom. We have lots of toys, games and books for children. The garden is a small with lovely soft artificial grass, hanging chair, bench seat and clothes line. If you are visiting with a car, please mention this . I can purchase visitor parking permits at an extra cost of £4.00 per day. Please let me know if you will have 2 cars in advance as I need to check permit availability. We are situated less than 5 minutes walk from Queen's Park which has lovely green space for picnics, tennis courts ( book on Queen's Park Tennis Club Brighton) and great childrens' play park. We also have St Luke's Pool just around the corner which does adult swimming sessions and plenty of play sessions for children. The house is in a great spot for exploring Brighton. It is 20minute down hill walk into town, or 15minute down hill walk to the beach. Our closest section of beach (away from the crowds of the pier) has the brilliant Yellowwave Cafe, Beach Box Saunas, Bison Bar, Sea Lanes pool and the Peter Pan play park. Our area is well services by buses if you can't face the walk back up the hill. Taxis cost between £6 - £10 from the beach and town. Please note a member of our family has Cystic Fibrosis so we can not host any guests with CF due to current guidelines. Guest access There is one room on the ground floor off the main hallway which will be locked as it is my workroom. The rest of the house is yours to use. Other things to note We love our neighbourhood and we love our neighbours. Please be considerate guests. Strictly no parties. Parking permits can be arranged for you before arrival at an extra cost of £4.00 per day. Please ask for these before your arrival so I can have them ready for you. It is often possible to have a late checkout if we don't have guests staying after you so if you need one, please ask and we can try to make it work. Please note that some peak periods may have a 3 or 4 night minimum stay.
