Welcome to Ayrshire's Rainbow Cottage. This is a superb 1 bedroom + attic room country cottage with a hot tub for your exclusive use in a peaceful rural location that will serve as the perfect base for your Scottish adventures. The space When you arrive, you'll enter the sitting room which is furnished with a sofa bed and arm chair, a 42" 3D LCD HD TV, DVD player and iPhone/mp3 docking station. Up the stairs to your left is the upper converted attic space also housing a double sofa bed and window. At the rear of the sitting room you'll find the kitchen, which has all required electric appliances (fridge with freezer compartment, oven and hob, kettle, toaster, microwave) as well as a breakfast bar with seating for two people. Going through the door to your right leads to the shower room and WC, and the main bedroom with wardrobe, dressing unit and double bed. Additionally, there's a washer-dryer in the corridor. Heating is provided via electric radiator (thermostatic) in the living room, and wall heaters in the attic room, corridor and bedroom, each with separate controls. Guest access Full access to the guest cottage, garden, parking area and hot tub. Please note that the hot tub is outside in the shared garden, although you will have exclusive use of it during your stay. Other things to note Free WiFi, though we are in the countryside and speed can sometimes be an issue. Use of the hot tub is at your own risk and we accept no liability for any damage or accident whilst using this facility. The cottage and facilities are only for those named on the booking and NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS are permitted. In order to keep rental costs to a minimum and to be more environmentally considerate, a small power charge is levied at £0.10 per unit used. April-Sept average usage is around £0.60 per day while colder winter months are £2-4 per day. Hot tub - due to essential maintenance or contamination issues, the hot tub can, on the rare occasion, be out of commission for a full 24hrs at a time. This is unforeseen and some bookings unfortunately may be affected by this. We therefore cannot give a 100% guarantee, if booking for a short period of 2 days, that the hot tub will be available for the full duration.
