☆ Welcome to the Lake Away Hideout at The Bungalow, a peaceful holiday retreat on the border of the Lake District National Park! We are based in the tranquil village of Levens; easy access off the M6 and a central location for exploring all areas of The Lakes. It has been recently refurbished to a high standard, which will undoubtedly provide you with a luxury stay. ☆ The space The Lakeaway comprises of two bedrooms with two double beds, plenty of living space, a well equipped kitchen with a wine cooler and a luxurious bathroom with a waterfall shower. You will also find a laundry cupboard with a washing machine, airer and an ironing board. Outside there is a small dining area - perfect for enjoying your morning cuppa or some alfresco dining in the evening. And of course the unique wood fired Scandinavian hot tub, which is a blissful way to unwind after a day exploring in the beautiful Lake District! There is a Mudhut for guests to use and securely store any muddy outdoor gear or bikes, with also a wash station outside to wash down any boots, bikes or paws! ☆ We offer a 20% discount for 7 night stays!! ☆ Please message if you require any alternative stays as we can offer this during off peak times & if we have last minute availability. Other things to note ☆ Please note the Hot Tub is NOT a Jacuzzi, therefore due to not using any chemicals to provide a more natural experience, the water may not be crystal clean. We change the water on every turnover for each new set of guests and only recommend using it a few times during your stay for hygiene reasons. As it is wood fired, you do need to light the fire to heat the water. The initial heat up will take around 3 hours, and will require your regular attention. It will then hold its heat with the insulated lid and only require little fires for the nights after. We provide a controlled amount of wood supplies, you may need to purchase extra during your stay. ☆ Message if you do not require the use of the hot tub as we can offer a small discount on your stay to encourage being environmentally friendly ☆ If you are bringing a dog please ensure you add the pet fee when booking - we allow up to 1 large dog or 2 small/medium dogs for comfort reasons ☆ We can set up a cot for a £20 fee (no bedding provided) ☆ The second bedroom contains a SMALL double bed Please inform us before booking if you require any accessibility needs/information.
