Guest suite in Seattle

A Classic Craftsman bungalow with a remodeled, modern, full-basement guest suite separate from the main upstairs home with a separate exterior entrance. The suite has high ceilings, a large living area, generous private bathroom, kitchenette, bedroom (queen-size), in-suite laundry room and patio for guests. Wallingford is a quiet well-located neighborhood with many of Seattle’s best restaurants, pubs, parks & coffee shops a close walk away. This space is dedicated for guests only. The space THE HOME. Our house is a remodeled 1925 Craftsman, emblematic of the style of structure found through our neighborhood (Wallingford). We've restored it to its original craftsmanship with modern updates and wonderful outdoor spaces. THE AIRBNB. The large remodeled basement guest suite is yours, separated from the main house with a private outside entrance. Large, well-lit, with modern design and high 8 ft ceilings, it includes a main living area with kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator, sink, and Verismo coffee maker), large sectional, 55" TV and gas fireplace, a separate bedroom with queen-size bed (pillow-top mattress), all-cotton bedding, bathrobes, and large modern bathroom with heated tile floors. It also includes a utility area with a washer and dryer. Guest access The full basement guest suite is a private, dedicated Airbnb. It has a separate outside entry off our back patio. The door entrance can be found by walking from the front of the home to the back or from the back-alley gate. Parking is plentiful, unrestricted, and free on the street or alley. We are on a direct bus route (31, 32) and one block from the 26 Express to downtown. Uber and Lyft are quick to arrive and Bike-Share, Car-Share can be easily found in our neighborhood. Wallingford is very close to the city core and surrounding neighborhoods, yet quiet and friendly. We are located between I-5 and Highway 99 if they are needed for easy access outside Seattle proper. Driving time, we are 10-15 min from downtown and 30 to the airport. Other things to note Our Media Entertainment center is easy to use, set up on a Universal Remote with Apple TV (ability to Airplay from your Apple devices), Streaming Netflix, DVD player and some classic DVDs. Heat is provided by two radiators (one in each room) you control by a single thermostat. The gas-fireplace is also useful for heat or atmosphere during a movie when coming in from the cold.
