These cozy one-bedroom suites have hardwood floors with a queen sized bed in the bedroom as well as a day bed, reading chairs, antique rugs and a private bath. The kitchens are equipped with a stove, refrigerator, and cooking essentials. Our Lodge Family Suites are units 01-The Bridal Suite and 03-The Master Suite. (Please note : pets are not allowed in the lodge rooms.) The space The Historic Lodge was built in 1892 as Senator Corbett’s vacation home. In the 1950’s the second floor Great Ballroom was converted into 4 separate suites, each with a private kitchen and bathroom and their own old-world charm. The beloved Sou’wester is a hodgepodge of private cabins, vintage travel trailers, suites and campsites. We are located minutes from the surf and less than 15 miles from Astoria, in historic Seaview on the Long Beach Peninsula. Most weekends, we host live music, classes and/or workshops. We are a great cozy destination all summer, fall, winter and spring. We have taken a lot of care to transform our 3-acre grounds into a unique, relaxing and fun experience for our guests. In addition to your private quarters, we offer: The Garden Spa & Finnish Sauna, built out of the highest quality clear western cedar and hand milled Port Orford Cedar benches. It has a beautifully renovated and heated indoor changing room with a private shower, an outdoor cold-plunge bath and shower, and an enchanting enclosed garden. The Art Trailer Gallery, a 1960’s Aloha that we transformed into a bright and beautiful gallery space that features rotating exhibitions. The Thrifty, our consignment store trailer, packed with a trove of gently used and vintage treasures for you to shop. Our Lodge, which has an honor system store featuring locally made goods, beer, wine, snacks, and pantry staples. We also have bicycles, records, record players, games, VHS tapes, and TVs for you to borrow and enjoy during your stay. We look forward to your visit!
