This stylish 1 bedroom cottage is perfectly sized for a small family of four or two couples on a weekend getaway and has outdoor patio with dining table and grill, private firepit and tea garden. Just 20 minutes to the best wineries in Idaho. Sit out on the patios of the wineries or restaurants or check out more excitement watching locals and pros surf the waves at the various manmade wave machines on the river. Or, get adventurous yourself and float the Boise river via innertube or SUP or kayak on the lazy river at Ester Simplot Park. The cottage is a 25 min bike ride to Main street and the local park waterpark! After a full day of exploring, entertain on your own private deck. Then gather around the gas fireplace to roast those marshmallows and count the stars in the beautiful Idaho sky! Relax with a nightcap from the bar, in front of the fireplace and let the stress melt away as you relax in the tall shower, after a workout on our Peloton bike in our private gym, then snuggle with the Portuguese Linen throws while watching your favorite Netflix movie! Outdoors: The Cottage is located at the end of the driveway beside our estate home. You access the property through the private porch at the end of the driveway. Just walk through the stone arch and tea garden, past the charming tea house and up the porch steps to your front door. There is a self-check-in lockbox. Two dedicated parking spaces behind the shop are within steps of your cottage and exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. Street parking is free and readily available. Private patio: Arriving at your private entrance, take in the a spacious private patio, perfect for outdoor entertaining, where you and your guests can sit at the bistro table under the umbrella and watch the horses grazing in the east pasture, the quail running across the lawn or enjoy the outdoor bbq with a view, taking in the beautiful scenery looking out over the 180 degree view of serene Idaho countryside, cows grazing in the fields beyond, the Sawtooth Mountains and Bogus Basin in the distance. Once inside the glass front door, you will be in the Sunroom, featuring a dining room, full kitchenette, and fully stocked pantry. Peruse our selection of Local and world class wines for purchase or enjoy a cup of tea or cappuccino from our well appointed coffee bar. Take in the rooms expansive garden views and soak up Boise's 200+ days of sunshine and view of the cottage's many gardens. Kitchen: Enjoy a kitchen and dining room bathed in light and surrounded by breathtaking countryside, mountain and garden views. 2 burner cooktop stove, English pine cupboards, white porcelain serve ware and silver hardware accent the English cottage style. You have a full size dining table with room for four. Your kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary utensils, basic cooking supplies and condiments, local coffee from black rifle coffee company, tea and a coffee pot plus ninja electric oven, microwave, toaster, & air fryer. Dishes for 6, including plates, bowls, mugs, wine glasses and placemats make it easy to eat at home. Plus, disposable dinnerware is also complementary. Your black minifridge comes furnished with Pellegrino and water. The pantry is stocked with a selection of basic supplies and basic spices are provided. You might even find a local food surprise in your welcome basket! Pour a hot cup of tea or make a delicious cappuccino at the Coffee bar complete with Keurig, coffee grinder, pour over, french press, teapot and selection of gourmet teas. Microwave and icemaker are provided. Within the dining room is the open shelves of the English pantry with wicker baskets and mason jars filled with supplies to dine and enjoy your stay and space to hold whatever you bring home form the local farmers market or boutique grocery store. The living room: Designed around a luxurious English study concept, the Study features a comfortable down sofa and a plush leather armchair for you to curl up in after a long day of exploring the Idaho wine trail. Two leather covered stools serve as space to enjoy a game of monopoly or to add extra seats to chat about the day. The mahogany bookshelves are stocked with classic books, board games and fine art and your eye is immediately drawn to moody bar stocked with crystal and finery in the back corner. With heavy velvet drapes drawn, relax under the amber glow of antique brass lamps and mahogany fireplace. A 54-inch flat screen television to enjoy shows with satellite cable or enjoy the dvd library to spend the evening in cuddled under Portuguese linen throw blankets. Or open the curtains wide and take in the parklike setting. Need this space for sleeping? Here, you'll find a queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress topper and A set of velvet-draped, French-style doors can be closed and locked for privacy. Heating/air conditioning is provided by central HVAC. For all your electronic surfing needs, we offer wifi and phone chargers are provided in every bedroom. Private tea garden: Across from your dedicated parking, and just outside the southern sunroom windows is the private tea garden filled with flowers, groomed hedges, and pergola covered outdoor gas fire pit, just waiting for marshmallow roasting. Two black rockers sit beside a stone-clad, firepit to enjoy a book or fireside conversation. The Queen's Room: Just off the sunroom, behind a beveled crystal glass door, is the quiet and inviting, the nicely sized master featuring a lounge area for two. Relax and out your feet up in the cozy chairs and ottoman provided to finish that vacation book or watch a movie on the 35 inch flatscreen tv! With expansive coffered ceilings and romantic up-lighting, the stately room is styled with white linen with accents of blush and accented with well curated heirloom furniture. Two marble-clad end tables, both boast water carafe and crystal glasses to quench a midnight thirst. Beautiful classic artwork and antique mirrors flank the Purple memory foam mattress Queen size bed. Piled high with pillows, it is perfect for diving into after your day exploring wineries, hiking or floating the river. Your bedroom walk-in closet includes a full-length mirror, two luggage racks, along with a shelving system for hanging clothes. An air purifier and neutral blush tones in the artwork and décor all add to a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. Light filtering shades soften the brilliant morning sun or draw the heavy velvet, blush colored drapes to enjoy a peaceful slumber in the darkness. Bathroom: An ensuite, this luxurious bathroom is appointed with walk-in shower, complete with extra tall showerhead and neutral travertine tile. White toilet and long mirrored vanity completes the room with spa quality toiletries and plenty of fluffy white towels. Walk In Closet: Off the master bedroom is our large walk in closet featuring two luggage racks, plenty of hangers, and laundry hamper. Here you can also find extra linen, pillows and blankets, workout equipment for yoga and free weights, as well as a broom, dustpan, mop and snow shovel. An ironing board and iron are located in the closet, if you need to look nice for an event or a work meeting. Gym: Located in the converted single car garage, accessed via keypad, the estate also includes an exercise room featuring a Peloton spin bike, yoga mats and free style weights plus exercise bands/straps and towel station. This space is private to the property but shared amongst the guests. Not wanting to share? The cottage has its own selection of workout gear found in the walk in closet reserved for exclusive use by the cottage guests. Activities at the Cottage: BBQ and relaxing by the fire of course. But, your stay is also enhanced by a variety of board games, outdoor games like cornhole, giant connect four, yahtzee and jenga out on the lawn beside the teahouse, marshmallow roasting, yoga with provided yoga mats, and picnics in the French potager garden with picnic basket. Welcome to life at the Dovehaven Manor! Guest access You have exclusive access to the Cottage, the driveway, the tea garden, the outdoor patio, BBQ with shared access to the tea house lawn, French potager garden and gym. The driveway behind the shop is reserved for the Cottage. Manor guests will park in the two car garage and driveway located on the front of the estate. The driveway in front of the shop, beside the tree lined entrance is to remain open. The Cottage interior is completely private with no shared spaces and is attached to the main house like a guest suite. Double-locked doors provide privacy and security for our guests. Guests receive secure access to the cottage via a keypad on a private entrance and patio on the east side of the house. A special code will be provided to guests prior to their arrival. Other things to note Due to the coronavirus we are taking disinfection seriously, our cleaners are doing a top to bottom job and really focusing on disinfection of high touch areas, such as light switches, door handles, remotes, countertops, etc. Our Manor and Cottage can be joined together for larger group rental. The Manor is a 2 bedroom/2 bath property with gameroom, two diningrooms, large family room, chef kitchen, large private yard with spa and covered patio. Please reach out to us with your dates desired to confirm availability. Manor guests are advised to keep noise down at the end of the hallway so noise doesn't carry. If you experience any discomfort with noise, please let us know and we will remind manor guests to be respectful of that end of the manor. Peaceful enjoyment: We are a quiet neighborhood. For the comfort of all guests, quiet hours are to be observed from 10pm to 9am. We use smart home technology to improve your experience. For the safety of our guests and animals that reside on the property, outdoor facing cameras are used to monitor the exterior of the premises. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. All property cameras and NoiseAware are 100% privacy compliant and are required on this property. If you have any questions, please ask. This cottage is nestled in the heart of a five acre equestrian estate set amongst a park like setting. Feel free to walk the property and take in the many sitting areas, gardens and sights around the property. Please do not enter the gated back yard of the manor. Please do not enter past the white painted fences of the pastures, as those are reserved exclusively for our horses and their equestrians. Outside lights are on timers and will shut off at 10pm. Disabling the timers will result in a $100 charge. Please use only the solar lights on pergola by fire pit after 10pm. Any complaints from neighbors regarding noise are grounds for your reservation to be terminated without a refund. Due to horses and livestock on property and open country perimeters, dogs are not allowed on the property. Our outside games are located in the storage shed to the left of the patio. You can access it from the teahouse lawn. Our spa and yard maintenance technicians access the back yard every week. For the peaceful enjoyment of the property for everyone, all guests and staff are requested to observe quiet hours between 10pm and 9am. For the safety of our guests and the safety and health of our horses, guests are kindly asked not to pet or feed the horses. We have many items not kept within the cottage that can be provided free of charge to delight & meet the needs of our guests. Please speak with the manager at booking to give the details of your guests and reason and length of your stay and she will offer you the items we have available such as age appropriate children's toys, pack and plays, highchairs, boppy pillow, children's plates and cups, items for activities like picnics and sporting events, beach towels, lawn chairs and beach bags and many others.
