Our one bedroom apartment is located in the peaceful area of Olympic Valley, in a dead end street with limited traffic which add to your retreat. You'll have your own entrance which gives you your privacy. You can enjoy walking along the beautiful Olympic Valley meadow to the Village (0.8 miles) and be right there driving. Hiking Granite Peak or Shirley Canyon, biking along the meadow and the Truckee River to Tahoe City, Downhill skiing, snowshoeing. Our one bedroom apartment has been freshly repainted, decorated, furnished. Full kitchen with granite counter top, full fridge, dishwasher (soap provided). One bedroom with King size bed, walking closet and working desk. Nice bathroom with shower, soap and shampoo. Washer and dryer (soap provided). Iron and Iron board. Hydronic radiant heating floor. This apartment is perfect for 2 guests (550 Sq Ft) but we'd like to mention the sofa bed in the common area. The sofa bed will be set up only if more than 2 guests. We will allow a maximum of 4 guests if requested at time of reservation for an extra fee of $ 40.00 per extra person per day . We'd like you to be aware that the guests using the sofa bed will have to go through the bedroom to use the bathroom. There is one parking spot at the lower driveway, in front of the apartment. If more than 1 parking spot is needed, it will have to be discussed at the time of reservation. The apartment is located in our main house but guests have their main entrance which makes it very private. Guests do not have access to our main house. Easy parking space! We do have a parking space available for you in our lower driveway right in front of your apartment. We are making the check in and check out very easy...Self check in and out... We like to give our guests their space but we are definitely available to help if they need anything....Feel free to ask any questions as they would come up...we are more than happy to help our guests when needed... The apartment is located in a very friendly residential area at a dead end street.... Very little traffic which brings some peace in your stay...the house is located at the mountainside... so no neighbor in the back...just the mountain! Enjoy the streets for a relaxing walk in the neighborhood or even walk to the village taking short cuts.... I'm telling you...The driving to the ski resort is so short....about 3 minutes...you are so close to the ski area that in winter you will beat any traffic and really enjoy it! As you know winter brings us snow, sometimes a lot of snow, and it is strongly recommended to have a car 4WD or AWD ... or at least carry chains in your car.... The 12.5 % Placer County Transient Occupancy Taxes are included in our prices! Maximum occupancy amount. Nighttime occupancy is defined as 2 people per bedroom, plus 2 additional people, up to a maximum of 12 guests, excluding children under 12 years of age. Nighttime occupancy limits begin at 9:00 PM Daytime occupancy is defined as one and a half times the maximum number of occupants allowed to stay overnight at the unit, excluding children under twelve.
