The Sanctuary"Full Facility" Close to DT Sleeps 21

1 King bed on the main floor; 1 day bed with trundle on the main floor; 3 bedrooms on the lower level have a queen bed as well as a twin bed in each of the 3 bedrooms; 2 bedrooms on the lower level have 1 queen bed in both rooms; the last bedroom on the lower level has 2 queen beds...giving you a total of 13 beds.There are 2 bathrooms with showers; 1 bathroom with a shower/tub and 2 powder rooms. All bed linens/bath linens are provided; fully stocked kitchen; paper products & soaps provided. The space This property has a maximum guest occupancy of 21 guests. We do not allow any additional guests to be onsite day or night that would exceed the occupancy of 21 guests. This listing is for accommodations that would be consistent with a "hotel stay". We do allow events at this location...what do we consider an "event"?? Well, anytime the guest list exceeds 21 guests, we consider this an "event". We consider Weddings, Receptions, Anniversary Parties, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Graduation Parties, Birthday Parties, Large Family Holiday Parties, Corporate Holiday Parties, Retirement Parties and Rehearsal Dinners as an "event". All events must be authorized by our manager; all events must have a signed contract; all events have an ADDITIONAL event fee. If you are simply looking to book a normal stay where your occupancy does not exceed 21 guests and no weddings/events are taking place then please go ahead a message us through Airbnb so we can get your reservation request confirmed. The first floor of The Sanctuary boast a commercial kitchen with a 10 burner gas range, two dishwashers and a large gourmet refrigerator/freezer combo...not to mention a huge granite island and custom cabinetry! This large open concept kitchen overlooks a large dinning table flanked on either side with antique pews from the original church. The large dinning room table overlooks an expansive living room that has two large rounded sofas as well as two wing back chairs. There is a large fireplace with a slate hearth; there is a large TV above the fireplace making this living room the heart of the home! Finally, you will find a large dressing room/closet with a two person daybed as well as a master suite which includes a luxurious king bed with white linens and mirrored side tables. You will also find a large modern bathroom with a glass step-in shower, stone counter tops, custom vanity surrounded by stained glass windows. The basement of The Sanctuary boasts six bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one powder room, living room, dinning room and a kitchenette. Each bedroom in The Sanctuary is equipped with smart TV's, alarm clocks, white linens as well as plenty of storage for your clothing. The Sanctuary has Starlink Wifi throughout! Our televisions allow you to stream your personal streaming platforms. We do not have cable. We provide plush white towels as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash for your convenience. Toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods and kitchen towels are included as well. We have one commercial size coffee pot that allows you to brew three pots at once as well as two regular coffee makers that are standard if you do not need as much coffee. These coffee makers take regular paper filters and then any granulated coffee you like. We provide the paper filters as well as regular granulated coffee, you are welcome to bring your own favorite coffee if you prefer. We do not have a Keurig on the property as it would take forever to make coffee for everyone ;) There is a 15 minute unloading zone just outside the basement doors. All guest parking is "off site" at "Charley Creek Gardens" (518 North Wabash Street) which is just two properties to the north of The Sanctuary. We have an ADA parking spot just outside the basement doors that can be used IF you have the property documentation. Guest access Guests have access to the entire building except for our mechanical rooms that are locked, as well as our bell tower which is my office that is locked...other than that, the place is yours! Other things to note This property allows you to have up to 21 guests day or night; please do not exceed our occupancy allowance unless you have signed an event contract and paid the event fee prior to your arrival. There are single family homes on two sides of the property, a chiropractor on the other side and a church across the street. The Sanctuary sits at a busy intersection so please make sure you keep kiddos safe when you are outside of the property. Charley Creek Gardens (where you have parked) is a public garden with an upper and lower level that is all paved and has street lights. We highly recommend you to visit the garden that has a sculpture, a walking/running path and a beautiful creek that runs to the north of the garden. Sometimes the garden is closed for weddings but not very often so just watch for signage. Really a beautiful "hidden gem" that guests love!
