The Casa Rosa is the Guest House located on the Rancho de Jaime. It is a beautiful big beam ceiling brick floor Casita with 8 windows looking at the beautiful Sonoran Desert in the foreground and one of the best views of the Santa Catalina Mtns in Tucson. Mt Lemmon and Sabino Canyon are beautiful as the sun rises and sets. You will see lots of wildlife right outside the window as well as enjoying the flagstone patio to relax BBQ or socialize with a nice bottle of wine. Kitchen and Private Bath. The space The Rancho de Jaime is a 125 year old rachito that dates back to the New Mexico Territory days. It is historic and it is said that Ted DeGrazia once lived in this Casita so we added a couple of his paintings to show off his Tucson heritage. The Casita is cozy and well furnished. The kitchen is set up with an electric stove with oven, fridge, blender, two coffee makers Keurig and regular drip, toaster, microwave, garbage disposal, and all needed utensils. There is a set of bar stools to sit and eat or relax at the kitchen bar, Cable TV , wifi, lounging area and a great reading or watching TV chair with leg rest ottoman. We have several horses that you will see near the main gate. They are friendly! There is a small full bath with nice towels and a heat lamp. You will enjoy the flagstone private patio with table for 4 and umbrella as well as the BBQ watching the magnificent views and local wildlife visitors. Guest access The property is in an area in the Tanque Verde Valley. Big Eucalyptus Trees, private parking, furnished private patio with bbq, nice fireplace, queen bed cable TV and wifi. Other things to note We are only about a mile away from groceries, pharmacies, banks, coffee shops, and restaurants. Mt Lemmon and Sabino Caynon as well as Saguaro National Monument are close by for hiking, biking, and enjoyment.
