The house in not on the river, just the town 😁 Explore our local history and Shiloh battlefield as well as BEAUTIFUL Pickwick Landing State Park. The space This little house is a bit magical — and not by accident. Long before it found its way to you, it belonged to what I lovingly call the sweetest couple in Hardin County. From every story I’ve heard, kindness followed them wherever they went. They once purchased an old church in the Olivet area, carefully took it down, and rebuilt this cozy home piece by piece — filling it with love, laughter, and a lifetime of memories. They were square dancers, nursery and florist owners, and gatherers of beautiful things — which makes it feel almost meant to be that this home eventually landed with me. Life has a funny way of stitching stories together like that. When I acquired the house, it came full of treasures from their lives… and I’ve added a few from mine. The flow of this place has always felt special — almost alive — and my hope is that you feel its warmth, creativity, and calm while you’re here. You’ll notice many of the items throughout the home are available for purchase.
