Welcome to “The Hemlock” cabin One of two unique cabins on the property. A unique stay situated minutes from historic Perth, Ontario. The Hemlock sits on 160+ acres of private, natural forest. Enjoy 3 season lake access for kayaking & canoe. Year round trails for hiking, snow shoeing, exploring etc. Beautiful scenery and wildlife in a peaceful, private setting, relax and unwind by the fire! We look forward to having you! The space Our cabin sits on 160+ acres of private forest and is fully off-grid with wood stove heat and solar power. The cabin is ideal for 2 people with a queen bed in the loft but we offer a pull-out couch on the main floor for 1-2 more guests if needed. The Cabin is in a private setting, the water access and trails are shared with one other cabin on the property. Guest access Private entrance off the main road with private parking located within 100 feet from the A-frame cabin . Other things to note Outhouse ONLY for bathroom business. Wood stove is the ONLY source of heat, very warm and cozy but it’s up to you to keep the fire burning. Your host will start a fire 1-2 hours prior to your arrival to make sure the cabin is adequately warm. Outdoor shower available during the summer months mid/late May-September. No wifi but the cell service is decent on the property and at the a-frame. Firewood is supplied for your stay. Note there is NO fridge in the cabin so you will need to bring a cooler and ice packs etc for your food.
