BOUTIQUE HOTEL VIBE in this Mod meets Boho upstairs apartment. It's a relaxing space that's comfy, fresh, open, & full of light. Perched on top w/ lots of windows & lovely sunset views. Short walk to downtown shops, seasonal farmer's market, bars, eateries, coffee, & ice cream. Oroville has lots of outdoor activities with a lake, hiking trails, golf course & river tubing in the summer. There are several wineries in the area & two casinos close by. The space You'll have the apartment all to yourself so spread out and enjoy. There are 2 private bedrooms w/ locking doors. Each bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed and highly rated Cozy House hypo-allergenic bamboo pillows. We like to use 100% cotton linens in white so you can SEE the clean! Relax and unwind in this freshly remodeled space. We took tender loving care in every detail to make it feel clean and tidy, but also relaxing and comfortable. Slip off your shoes, fix yourself a snack, and watch the 65” smart TV, or pour yourself a glass of wine and do a puzzle. (Wine not included but puzzles are)! There's a USB port on the breakfast bar which is a nice place to plug in and get some work done. Hydrate! Full size refrigerator with filtered water and ice in the door provided for your convenience. Start your day with a cup of Joe. There's a Keurig machine w/pods, sugar, and powdered creamer provided. For the coffee enthusiasts among us there is a full-sized coffee machine w/gold reusable filter, a French press, espresso moka pot, and coffee grinder. (Beans not included). The kitchen has all the implements you need to make yourself a meal. Olive oil, salt, and pepper have been provided. If it's a cocktail you're after, you've got every tool a mixologist needs to whip up a yummy concoction. (BYOB) If you don't feel like staying in, head downtown! It's about a 5-minute walk. There are several restaurants (some with bars), a coffee house, and a cute little ice cream joint. Lots of fun shopping with clothing, gifts, shoes, jewelry, baby gear, kitchen supplies, furniture, vintage, antiques, and thrift. During warm weather months there is a farmers' market. There are also services like salons, massage therapists, tattoo/piercing artists, and Lord's gym (with drop in/day rates). And the Senior Center downtown puts on bingo games if you're feeling lucky! If your stay falls on the first Friday of the month, you can take part in “First Fridays.” A themed downtown event put on by participating shops to inject even more fun into your shopping experience. The theme changes every month but an example of a past theme is “Around the World.” Each shop provided a snack representing different countries. Oroville boasts a world-class wildflower display up on Table Mountain in the Springtime. It's a must see! Giant swathes of yellow, purple, white, and orange. You won't believe your eyes! Wildflowers also bloom in spring around town in wild grassy areas like the ones that line the train tracks that pass through Oroville. Beautiful, rich, orange California Poppies and spires of purple and white Lupine will wave at you from right across the street from the apartment. Take a little walk down there and say hello:) You can walk through the field by the tracks and enjoy them all to yourself. The "North Sierra Wine Trail" event is back! Wine, food and music. April 23rd and 24th. Visit 9 wineries. Passports are $30 for the two days. Celebrates the return of the spawning salmon to the Feather River *If you head down to the Nature Center on the river trail you can watch the salmon jumping. FEATHER FIESTA DAYS Double weekend festivities in May TBA Vendors, car show, music and merriment. CHRISTMAS PARADE Charming and delightful local floats with lots of candy throwing! FIRST FRIDAYS Once a month themed shopping experience. Guest access The neighborhood is a mix of houses, apartments, a large park, and businesses. It is the upstairs unit of a stand-alone duplex. Located directly behind the Oroville Acupuncture building, whose parking lot you will enter to access the apartment's reserved parking spaces. Spaces are conveniently located at the base of the stairs that lead up to the entrance. Your cars will be visible from the dining room window and there are security cameras all around the exterior of the building. You'll be able to check yourself in and out with a lockbox located on the railing right by the front door. Other things to note The train goes through town close to the apartments. Most people enjoy it or don't even notice it. If you are bothered by the sound of trains, this may not be a good fit for you. Chugga chugga, chugga chugga, choo choo😁
