Picturesque Leonard Lake cottage

Rustic cottage set on a hillside overlooking the lake for fantastic views and sunsets (westerly exposure). Cottage is situated at the end of a bay amongst an archway of glorious birch,pine,oak and maple trees. Very private (no cottage to one side), quiet with a natural environment. The space The cottage is 980 Square feet, vintage beam Viceroy style that is cozy and comfortable. It is all pine/cedar interior with an open concept kitchen/livingroom/dining area overlooking the lake. A wood stove fireplace (wood supplied) in the corner. Two bedrooms (queen beds) of equal sizes with an additional day bed (double) in the livingroom area. Beautifully decorated (rustic charm) with all custom made log furniture. Guest access Lots of parking on the property with easy access from the driveway to the entrance of cottage. Other things to note Exterior is cedar siding with a large wraparound deck for relaxation. A propane BBQ situated on the deck next to the sliding door. A fire pit to the side of the cottage overlooking the hot tub gazebo and waterfront. 100 feet of waterfront with a huge deck/dock for your enjoyment. A boat house with life jackets/water toys (canoe, stand up board, adult kayak and two children size kayak. Boat launch nearby and accessible to park a boat at the dock. Lake is quiet with very little boat traffic. Spectacular sunsets. Basic essentials (toilet paper, soaps/dish soaps, cleaning supplies, etc) are supplied. For Covid/hygiene reasons, required to bring your OWN BED SHEETS AND TOWELS). Pillows and comforters are supplied. Complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate powder for you to enjoy. Must bring bottled water for drinking. Cottage water is good with everything else. Only consider small non-shedding dogs. PLEASE NOTE THAT WEEKLY RESERVATIONS IN JULY/AUGUST (7 nights) ARE REQUIRED FROM FRIDAY TO FRIDAY. Understand that some guests are interested in shorter stays for MAY/JUNE/SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER with certain check in days. Please inquire to see if accommodation is possible. NO CLEANING FEES This is a private cottage used by the host when not rented. Very few personal belongings are located within however plenty of space (closets/shelves) has been allocated for guests. RENTER INFORMATION PACKAGE located inside for everything that guests need to know. Please sign renter's code of conduct as this is a licensing requirement to rent any cottage within Muskoka Lakes.
