This is a family friendly lake house that is right on the water of Clearwater Lake. Sugarloaf Ski Resort (40 minutes), Saddleback Mountain (60 minutes) and Titcomb Mountain (20 minutes) are all within short drives. The home is set on a quiet private road located in the beautiful hills of Maine, yet has most of the conveniences of home. Rustic with a touch of modern flare; this beautiful year-round home is very spacious and perfect for families and friends to come together. This is a 4,300 sq. ft. home with 150 feet of lakefront. ADDITIONAL SPACE: We have an additional living space, bathroom and bedroom located on the lower level that is only accessible from the outside. It has its own entrance. This space can be rented for a negotiated price. INTERNAL ACCESS: The basement is off-limits. As is the additional living space on the lower level is off-limits unless we have arranged for it to be included in the rental agreement. WOOD STOVES: There are two wood stoves in the home. These are OFF-LIMITS for your own safety and the safety of our home. Please do not tamper with the locks on the stoves. If anything urgent comes up, please text or call us. We will not be available in person; however, we have relatives 1 mile up the road to assist if needed. Quiet lakefront neighborhood with quick access to downtown Farmington. You'll need a car to access the property. Four wheel drive is useful during the winter months. Parking for no more than 6 cars with one garage space available. KIDS: The house has a pack ‘n play (including sheets), and lots of toys and games to entertain little ones. WIFI and LIMITED RECEPTION: We have wifi. Cell phone reception can be spotty and poor depending on provider. TV: We have a tv that is set up to stream many different services. We also have DVDs and a portable DVD player in the hutch in the living room. WILDLIFE: The house is in the woods of rural Maine. You'll likely see lots of birds and squirrels year-round, and in the warmer months you may see fish jumping in the lake, loons, and many others. If you're lucky you may even see a bald eagle! PETS: ON REQUEST ONLY! We do not allow pets; however, we may make exceptions. This must be arranged while booking and we cannot guarantee that all requests will be granted. If approved, it would be an additional cost to cover extra cleaning.
