Unique Studio Condo in Southtown
Description
If you're a traveling business professional looking for the ideal San Antonio stay, you've found it! In a vibrant part of downtown, the Southtown area will give you walkable access to many iconic amenities with the simultaneous access to all major freeways. Residents enjoy visiting the restaurants & bars around the Blue Star Arts Complex, the River Walk, the nightlife scenes of Saint Mary’s St., local breweries and 1st Friday. This location will make your stay in San Antonio one to remember! The space Originally built in 1946, the building was first utilized as a distribution center for a timber company but went through an extensive renovation in 2006 converting the space into what is known today as the South End Lofts. Located on the 2nd floor, the 700SF of interior space consists of exposed concrete floors, columns and pan joist ceilings which gives a nod to the buildings industrial-era origins. Along with the stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops and custom cabinetry, the unit is equipped with a built-in queen-sized murphy bed. This gives guests the ability to either collapse the bed during the day or to pull out from hiding when ready for bed or a quick power nap. The oversized, glass curtained wall provides an awesome and unique view of the downtown skyline. The unit comes completely furnished and equipped to service nearly all needs for a short-term stay including Wifi, a TV with Firestick, computer desk, sofa bed for guest and all living essentials. Additional Amenities: -Gated/Coded Community -Assigned Covered Parking (Single Car Space) -Roof Top Terrace -Outdoor Swimming Pool -Outdoor Natural Gas Grill -24/7 Fitness Center & Yoga Studio Please Note: -There is a 30 night minimum stay requirement. This is a community rule of the complex and is, unfortunately, not flexible. -The building is located right next to an active railroad. This section of railway does not experience an abundance of train traffic. However, from time-to-time, you will see and/or hear freight trains and the occasional passenger train passing through the area. Generally, this occurs anywhere from 1-4 times throughout the day. Sometime none. Depending on the conductor, the train might blow its horn at the Flores St. crossing. This typically last for only a moment or two. I recall when I first moved into the condo several years ago, I was startled the first time it happened, but quickly adapted. -Another thing is that, when opening, the murphy bed tends to creep back up to a semi-shut position. However, once you have sat or laid on the bed for a moment, then the pressure from the pistons will have dissipated and the bed should remain in its open position. -Assigned parking is limited to 1 vehicle. Guests may park in the assigned visitor section, but may not remain parked there for longer than 48 hours. -The pool and roof top terrace are smoke and glass free areas. Both have a set of rules posted outside on the entries. - Smoking and pets are strictly not allowed inside of the unit. We do not want guests to be surprised by these things, so please be advised prior to booking. If you have any questions, at all, then please feel free to reach out to me. My goal is to make your stay as easy and enjoy as possible. Other things to note Vehicle gate opener can be provided with $150 refundable deposit.
