Enjoy a Swedish-style boathouse on the pristine shores of Caspian Lake! This rustic cabin accommodates up to 4 guests in a cozy sleeping loft (via ladder) and a bunk room. We offer a fully equipped kitchen with standard amenities. Many guests enjoy the traditional cedar sauna, followed by a cool lake plunge. A beautiful porch directly overlooks one of the sandiest beaches on the lake, making it perfect for watching your children play in the sand or wading slowly into the water. Pets welcome! The space The boathouse is filled with rustic charm. Initially built to house boats, it has evolved over the years with a sleeping loft (via a stable ladder), bunk room, small bathroom, a sauna, and simple kitchen. Settled on one of the sandiest beaches on the lake, it’s a quintessential Vermont cottage (not for those who are looking for luxury, but perfect for those who love being close to nature). Guests are welcome to access all areas of the Boathouse, except for owners storage adjacent to the bunk room/above the bathroom. A Note on Internet Access We want to let you know in advance that the Boathouse does not have Wi-Fi. This is intentional—part of what makes this place special is the chance to disconnect from the usual noise and reconnect with the stillness of the lake, the rhythm of the water, and the people you're with. That said, many guests find they can use their phones as personal hotspots if they need to check in or get online briefly. We hope you find the slower pace here restorative.
