Cabin in Twin Peaks
Description
Nestled amongst the pine trees of the San Bernardino Mountains, enjoy a picturesque view of the lush pine-filled hillsides of Lake Arrowhead. Begin the day with coffee and tea on the deck amongst the trees and a peak-a-boo view of Lake Arrowhead. Lace up your hiking books and walk across the street to San Bernardino National Forest land where you can observe nature in all its wonder. Snuggle up near the fireplace in the winter or escape the heat with AC in the summer. The space The home is split into three levels. The living space is on the top floor, so you can enjoy treetop views all around. Here you will find the living room, kitchen, dining nook, and a half bathroom. The main deck is off this space, allowing for effortless indoor/outdoor living in the summer. You are surrounded by trees on the deck, with a peek-a-boo view to Lake Arrowhead. The downstairs space is where you will enter the home from the front door. It consists of the laundry room, main bathroom, and two bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms have a closet and queen bed. The "Fox Hole" is what we have fondly nicknamed the basement space. It is a unique and fun space for children. It is accessible by a sturdy ship ladder, which drops down into this cozy sleeping space. There is one day bed and one long "bunk" built into the wall. The built-in bunk measures 113" long, so our young kids LOVE sleeping "toe to toe" in this cozy space. This built-in bunk is a high-quality foam couch cushion, not a bed mattress. Your kids will LOVE sleeping and exploring this fun and creative space. There is a (tiny) bathroom en suite, which makes it easy for middle-of-the-night potty trips. This space is likely not a great fit for very young children, given the access via ladder. The space can be locked off both by key and baby gate (in place) for safety for those younger guests. Guest access Arrowhead Hill House can accommodate up to three vehicles in the driveway. It is easily accessible from Highways 18 and 189. Other things to note Arrowhead Hill House is a small but efficient space. We think the space is comfortable for 4 adults and several children. At its maximum capacity, two small families would be happy and cozy here, or of course, one larger family/group. Notes for families with children: - The main bedrooms are cozy, but can comfortably fit a travel crib in each room. We have provided one pack-and-play for your use. - We also have a stand-alone high chair and children's plates/cups/utensils. - We provide baby gates for the top of the stairs for your use. - We also have provided an audio monitor for your convenience. We find this especially helpful when our kids are sleeping in the "fox hole". Registration Details CESTRP-2021-02795
