In the tranquil area of a quaint village in the Laurentians, our charming lakefront chalet is welcoming, bohemian, cozy, private. Sunsets, waterlilies, wildlife, watersports in your backyard! Walking distance to hiking and biking trails - P'tit Train du Nord and Parc Regional. A few minutes drive to waterparks, golf course, chic cafes, boutiques, grocery stores, etc. One hour north of Montreal, along highway between St Sauveur and Mt Tremblant, about 15 / 30 minutes away from each. The space Our comfortable central-heating and air-conditioned chalet, is a side-split layout. Transitioning between the split levels requires using a small number of steps. It is located in a secluded and natural area of the village, yet steps from all the action! It is backing on the shore of a private lake and is across the road from a larger public lake and the public beach. Higher level: there are three large bedrooms: one with a king bed, another with a queen bed, and yet another with a queen bed and a single bed; one full bathroom. Main level: open space large living area in front of a wood burning fireplace, with a smart speaker for your entertainment, flowing into a dinning area with a big rustic live edge dining table, bench and chairs, and a coffee and tea station (an espresso with milk frothing, a drip coffee, a tea kettle, a french press). This section makes the connection to the oversized kitchen overlooking the patio and the lake with plenty of countertop space, a breakfast peninsula with stools, lots of cabinet storage, even an indoor barbecue. The kitchen is fully stocked, we use the chalet ourselves and are happy to share with you anything a home needs, all essentials, spices, including a blender, mixer, panini maker, fondue, orange juicer, to make your meal preparation and packing easier. Adjacent to the dinning area is another large sitting area that can be converted to a completely private separate guestroom/office if the doors to the wide opening are closed. It has a powder room bathroom, an ambient fireplace and is furnished with 2 sofa beds, a desk, a TV with a Roku stick, chess board and even a keyboard piano. We call this room fondly the zen room, it overlooks the lake, the sunsets and the patio and spa through large windows and the views are heart warming! Lower level: this is where you will find the games/tv room with a large Roku TV, tons of board games, darts, a foosball table, library, and sports equipment (treadmill, mats, weights, extensors, etc.); laundry room has a full-sized front load washer and dryer; a full bathroom and a mudroom to store your outdoor equipment, shoes and clothes, are by the entrance. In the carport there is a bike rack and a ski rack. Backyard leading to the lake: a jacuzzi spa; the firepit; a barbecue; wooden patio with an eating and a sitting area (in season). The Jacuzzi hot tub is available year around. An above ground frame pool (15 feet) is available in the summer. You may find available: snowshoes, skates, cross-country skis, sleds in the winter; pedal boat, canoe, paddle board, kayak, a couple of bikes, (even a couple of bike locks) in the summer. These are provided at no additional costs, but conditional upon having been left in proper functional state by the previous guests or having the time to fix/replace them. Please feel free to inquire before arrival. Don't hesitate to ask for more details or clarifications. Please note: for the safety of our guests and our home, we have recording devices (cameras) in the carport and at each exterior door. Other things to note Nearby activities and attractions: - few minutes walk to the public beach on Lac Raymond - few minutes drive to the Val-Morin golf club - few minutes walk to Val-David/Val-Morin Regional Park, there is an entry tight by the old Gare Val-Morin, currently the Mapache restaurant. Access to hiking, snowshoeing, cross country ski, fat biking and mountain biking trails, bouldering - few minutes walk to access to P'Tit Train du Nord, at the end of our street, an over 200km decommissioned train pathway maintained as a bike/cross country trail, just at the street corner - canoe, kayak, paddleboard from our private dock in the backyard, or skate, snowshoe on it - few minutes drive to the Val-Morin golf course - few minutes drive to Belle Neige - the local ski slopes that transform into a drive-in cinema and mountain bike trails in the summer - few minutes drive to ski slopes at Valeé Blue in Val-David - few minutes drive to Village du Père Noël - short drive to horseback riding, zip lines, via ferrata, windsurfing, sailing, rock climbing, bouldering - 20-30 minutes drive to Mont Tremblant - 10-20 minutes drive to Saint-Sauveur - one hour drive to Montréal - explore the many restaurants available in the area - visit the Saturday summer farmer's market in Val-David and enjoy its cute downtown, or grab your skates and a hot-chocolate in the winter - many grocery store brands, Walmart, Bourassa, Canadian Tire, etc., should you need supplies - and so much more, awaiting for you to discover Registration Details Quebec - Registration number 314044, expires: 2026-06-08
