Located only 35-minutes from downtown Nashville, The Retreat at Sunset Lake is a newly-renovated mid-century lodge. With a private lake full of fish (& private boats) and the Red River, this place is heaven sent. There is a large game room, with a full-sized pool table and ping pong, as well as a game table with 60 games. While The Retreat sleeps 10, it's also a perfect corporate retreat setting. Beautiful sunsets, peaceful mornings, adventure and fun is what The Retreat is all about. The space This A-frame lodge has been renovated into a cozy, mid-century spot that's perfect for corporate retreats, family get-togethers or just lots of relaxation with friends. With a 9-foot dining table that seats 12, a fully-stocked kitchen, a screening room and a full game room with pool table, ping pong and an awesome game table (with 60 games), The Retreat is a great place to be for groups large and small to relax, connect and make lasting memories. There is ample parking at The Retreat. We live in East Nashville but are 35-mins away, if needed. We also have a local Springfield team that can tend to repairs, etc. The Retreat at Sunset Lake has its own private lake and the Red River runs along the back of it, both waiting for your fishing poles and kayaks. Or just sit in the hot tub and watch the incredible sunsets over the water. It's paradise. Downtown Nashville is an easy Uber ride or 35 minute drive away. For a more local visit, the historic town of Springfield is a 15-minute drive and it’s worth a visit. There are tons of cute shops and restaurants as well as a great antique mall. You will need a car to access our property, but you’re close enough to downtown Nashville that you can Uber back and forth to the honky tonks! Barely more than a 30-minute drive from downtown Nashville, The Retreat is a place where you can find both solitude and quiet while still having plenty of activities and ways to have fun with one another. Whether you want to wade into the Red River and fly fish or jump in one of the three boats on our private lake, it's all yours. Love yard games? We have plenty! In the winter, make a cozy fire, watch movies, play pool or ping pong or challenge someone to a game of Pac Man or Galaga on our professional game table. When you are feeling the urge to get out and explore simply make a quick 15-minute drive away is historic Springfield (est 1798), an adorable town with lots of shops, restaurants and landmarks.
