Authentic Maine camp. Cedar Crest is on pristine Echo Lake in Fayette, ME (20 mins from city of Augusta). A 1950's traditional Maine camp just 25 ft from the lake, with 1,000 sq. ft, 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6), and outdoor space. Renovated with eastern white pine boards, woodstove & a heat pump for cool mornings and night. One bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen that boasts a live edge pine countertop. Unique camp decor. Min 3 nights (min 2 nights Sep/Oct) The space Vaulted ceilings in the dining room and kitchen make this camp feel open while the ceiling fans, heat pump, and wood stove help keep the place cool and warm. Bedrooms are quaint with full size beds, a dresser, chair, fan, and coat hooks. Linens and bedding provided. The screened porch provides protection from the elements with relaxing views of the water. Access to water is from the dock. Other things to note Cedar Crest sits among a small community of camps nestled in a cove away from the larger (busy) part of Echo Lake. Beautiful sunrises will never disappoint whether that is from the porch or a chair on the dock. A private dock wide enough to allow for extra space to move around. Included are (4) kayaks (one for child <130lbs), (1) canoe, (1) 12' aluminum boat no motor, (2) standup paddle board, life jackets (not guarantee to fit everyone), (2) fishing poles and tackle box, a few water floats, a swim platform, 8 ft picnic table, (2) grills, (2) firepits, firewood, and outdoor Adirondack chairs. Also available are indoor games, puzzles, playing cards, cribbage boards, and some books.
