Stone Cottage Homestay Little House

You are invited to stay in my "little house". It is a tiny stone cottage behind my home. The bathroom is nearby inside the house (basement). The space I have opened up my little house for guests. It is only 8' x 8' total. That's the outside dimension. There is a TWIN bed, dresser, shelf, and chair. That's it. TINY. Really best suited to a single person. This is a rustic summer-camp sort of place. Fun! If the dates you need aren't listed, please send an inquiry. Sometimes I can work things out. There is electricity and wifi out there. There is a full bathroom nearby in the basement of the main house (cute, but not fancy). I have a small space heater, a fan, and plenty of blankets out there. Recent guests have said it's quite comfortable. But you do have to go across to the house to use the bathroom/kitchenette. Below is the overall description of the property. Gardens surround my charming homestead with rare trees & shrubs, flowers, and fresh vegetables. There is off-street parking and a friendly, helpful hostess. This place may just remind you of your grandmother's house. Outside in the gardens you'll find a covered swing, benches, and tables & chairs with umbrellas for your enjoyment in the warmer months. Your tiny guest house is in the back yard of my home. You will come inside to use the (basement) bathroom. There is a single bed, dresser, chair, and shelf. The room comes with cotton sheets, garden privileges, wifi, and sometimes a sweet cat to visit with (if you like). This is a summer house (not insulated) and the only heat is a small space heater. The vegetable garden is large and productive year-round. There are even winter veggies and flowers in the attached greenhouse. It is a sweet, warm, fragrant place to sit on a cold day! There is a small kitchenette space in the bathroom area. It has a dorm-sized fridge, microwave, coffee pot, tea kettle, toaster oven, dishes, etc. No regular cook-top. Good coffee and a choice of teas are available. I strive to create a healthy atmosphere. I garden using organic methods. I recycle everything possible. I have a reverse-osmosis water filtration system for drinking. And I have a whole-house water filtration system for a chlorine-free shower. I use natural cleaning products and unscented laundry soap. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky National Park are nearby. All the fun of Asheville (including the Biltmore Estate) is right up the road. The Asheville Outlet Mall isn't far away. I am a little bit out of town and there are some local eateries out here. But the best selection, of course, is in Asheville. This is a casual household. Flexible. People feel comfortable here. We love people of all types! We especially enjoy easy-going people who enjoy a home-like atmosphere as opposed to a motel. I speak some Turkish and a smattering of German.
