Only a 1 min drive to the revitalized heart of New Albany and short 7 minute drive to downtown Louisville. This stylish 2 br 1 1/2 ba loft like flat was a grocery in the early 1900s. It was renovated to bring back the exposed brick wall, beams and knotty wood floors. The-remodeled bathroom has a new soaking tub and stand in shower. The middle BR also has a futon that pulls out to sleep 2 more. There is also an outdoor firepit on a paved area. The space The property boasts a large room housing the living space, dining area, kitchen and gaming area. The first bedroom with a queen bed and futon leads to the half bath. The back bedroom (queen) leads to the full bath and back yard. Please note that the the bedrooms are connected. Guest access You will have the entire 1st floor of this beautiful historic building. The exterior has two lovely outdoor spaces. The back courtyard is yours alone, it includes a cozy sitting area with white lights, a grill and a fire element. The second exterior space is shared with the guest upstairs. It includes a firepit, seating, white lights and a table area. Other things to note Please note that this is a historic building and while we have worked to provide sound barrier we also tried to keep the integrity of the building intact. In the upper unit we usually only have two guests and on occasion they can be heard. Likewise they can hear below. We ask both groups be considerate of the others!
