This house is perfect for extended visits for work or leisure as well as shorter term stays for fun and relaxation. The Beckley Escape is a perfect location for exploring the New River Gorge! As is noted elsewhere in the description , the driveway is a little steep. ( not by WV standards ☺️). If this bothers you, please look for another booking as we want you to be happy . Literally .25 miles to Route 19 and 20 minutes to the New River Gorge Bridge in Fayette County. Home of amazing hiking, and class 3 to 5 white water. Another 20 minutes up the road is Summersville Lake with beautiful clear water , paddle board and pontoon and jet ski rentals . Fall sports includes The Gauley River ...not for the faint of heart! Winter sports include Winter Place ski resort 20 minutes south. Located 3 miles from The Beckley Plaza , where there is Walmart, Kroger, Food Lion, Sams Club and many other stores. Entire house 3 bedrooms one bath, living room, kitchen and large front and back yard with patio seatingon each .porch available at all times but I give space. I don't hover but please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. Quiet neighborhood with mostly elderly people . In the summer, you will see off road vehicles going down the street to access one of the area adventure trail put ins. Use your own car. There are window air conditioner units in the house in all 3 bedrooms in summer months. Leave the doors open and ceiling fans on to cool down the living room and kitchen areas. The Crossroads Mall and Buffalo Wild Wings are less than .25 miles away . Beckley has shopping such as Kohls, Sam's Club and TJ Maxx as well as many restaurants.
