The Beach House on Ottawa River

Welcome to our beach house! Located right on the Ottawa River, it offers stunning views and a perfect getaway spot. The shallow entry makes it safe for children to swim, and we're pet-friendly with a gated deck for privacy and safety. Explore the river with kayaks and paddle board for a relaxed beach vibe experience. It’s a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Ottawa River! located an hour and a half from Ottawa, and 10 minutes from Pembroke. The space Our beach house is located right on the water. It has 3 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queens). Each room is heated by an individually controlled baseboard heater and has a ceiling fan. The kitchen equipped with water filter, and a build in cook top. Please Note there is No Oven!There is a wood burning stove for the atmosphere. A huge overlapping deck offers you gorgeous views of Ottawa River. Important Information for Guests: Firewood: We do not provide firewood. However, there is plenty of wood around the property. Please ensure you follow the local fire ban regulations. Water: - Our filtration systems make the water clear, but it is not safe for drinking directly from the tap. - In the kitchen, there is a small filter that you can use for washing vegetables and fruits. - We provide one large bottle of water for making tea or coffee. The Beach: Beach size varies with the seasons. In summer, especially in July and August, water levels are lower, in September the water level is extremely law revealing more beach area, making it perfect for walking. Since the cottage is in a reservation area, you might encounter some muddy spots and weeds. We recommend to bring swimming shoes because there are mussels in the water. Please note we Don't provide beach towels. Bunkie Information: The bunkie on the property is currently not in use and not available for rent.
