A short drive from Blind River will bring you to the boat launch for Lake Matinenda. Located in Sullivans' Bay , this 1920's log cabin offers beautiful views, outdoor recreation and space for creating memories. Main cabin sleeps 5 with 2 bedrooms, bunk house sleeps 4. Full kitchen with running water, water cooler, electricity, dining/ living space and a 3 piece bath. Bring your fishing gear and your food and family, just about everything else is supplied. No pets. The space Please note: This is a lake access only property, boat taxi available if needed. Our quaint cottage offers an open concept living room/dining/ kitchen area facing the lake. Two bedrooms are off the main living area with the bathroom to the rear of the cottage. The sunroom offers a peaceful place to start or end the day with a beverage of your choice. The Master Bedroom has a queen bed with an attached play room and twin daybed. There are art supplies and a few children's toys as well as board games/cards. The second bedroom offers a double bed. Bunkhouse has two sets of twin bunkbeds. An extra fridge is also available. We supply two kayaks and a pedal boat to use-please supply your own pfd. A BBQ and propane are provided as well as fire wood for the outdoor pit. A fully stocked kitchen with spices, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery and some pantry staples. A coffee bar can be found next to the large harvest table with supplies for coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Also supplied are bedding and towels. The outhouse is kept in excellent condition and TP is supplied. STARLINK Cell signal is available. There are neighbours right next door with secure cell coverage as well. In summer months we are also living a few doors away. There is no tv signal at this time, however, there is a DVD and movies to watch. This west facing log cabin off Bagis' Rock offers spectacular sunsets. A shallow entry provides for enjoyable swimming and excellent fishing. Property backs onto hiking trail. Ideal place for rest and relaxation. Caretakers live next door have chickens and friendly dogs. They are approachable for any help or questions you may have. Guest access This is a boat only access cabin. In summer months we are usually available to pick you up at the landing if you don’t have a boat. Taxi service available by a third party which is $50 round trip. Parking in public lot for vehicles and/ or boat trailer is free at the moment. The entire cottage, bunkhouse and dock area are yours to use. Other things to note Linen and pillows provided. Propane for BBQ and fire wood for pit is included. Use of the following provided: kayaks and pedal boat.Stocked kitchen with utensils, dinnerware, pots and pans. Basic pantry items supplied- sugar, salt and pepper, flour, spices. After each stay, linen and toys are sanitized. Starlink wifi and a cell booster enhances text and call capabilities. Tv supplies for DVD movies. If needed, booster chairs for infants/ toddlers or playpen with sleep mattress available upon request. Childrens fishing rods also available.
