Quiet rm. with private entrance, at edge of woods

As a postgrad., lecturer, MD, or other professional, you’ll appreciate the Africa Room with its excellent Wi-Fi, and peace and quiet. It has 2 twin beds, a table and 2 chairs, sink, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and air fryer. The backyard deck has excellent Wi-Fi, with woods and wildlife mere feet away. A 15-minute car ride from Yale Campus and downtown, my house is in a quiet and very safe neighborhood, environmentally conscious and LGBTQA+-friendly, with a welcoming and homey atmosphere. The space This light-filled bedroom can sleep 1-2 people in two twin-sized beds which can be placed separately, next to each other ,or on top of each other. The room offers a private entrance from the driveway, a table and chairs, Keurig coffee machine, small air fryer, and a sink. Your room is equipped with a microwave and small refrigerator for unrestricted use. Please note this is in the lower level of the home and you must go upstairs to access the kitchen, bathroom, and other shared spaces. My house is at the edge of the Regional Water Authority Property. At times there might be bugs coming into room. This is a private room in a shared 4-bedroom home. The other bedrooms may be occupied by other guests at any time during your stay. There are many shared spaces in the home that are available for your use! If you want to use the kitchen, you can only prepare strictly vegetarian food and kosher fish. You must abide by these rules if you wish to use it. Other spaces include the living room with fireplace, mixed use room with workspace and exercise mat, and a back deck and patio. There is also an on-site washer and dryer available for your use. There is direct access to the Regional Water Authority (RWA) Recreation Area through the backyard! Parking is available in the driveway or on the street. Excellent Wi-Fi & quiet home – ideal for remote workers. Allergy-friendly: no scented laundry detergent for bed linens and towels, scented candles, incense, or plug-in air fresheners. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions! Guest access Your bedroom is completely private, along with your entryway. The rest of the home is a shared space. During your stay Most days I can be reached via text, What's App, and email between 9 AM and 11 PM. Feel free to talk with me at your convenience when I’m home. When I am away for longer periods, I have a co-host who will be available for immediate assistance. When I am home, I can prepare meals at $15 for a 3-course meal. I am an excellent cook, prepare food from scratch, and am experienced in preparing meals for people with dietary restrictions and/or specific preferences. This needs to be previously arranged. Other things to note ~This Room May Not Be For You If…~ You are not willing to follow rules associated with cooking in a kosher/vegetarian kitchen. You are not comfortable with other guests in the home. There are four total bedrooms rented in this home, all of which may be occupied at any point in time. Each room has its own key. You are looking for a downtown New Haven stay. This home is in a residential neighborhood. Though it is well-located, it does require a vehicle for most errands. You are not comfortable walking up or down stairs. There are stairs in this home. ~Late Check-Out/Early Check-In~ We are happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out when possible. Oftentimes, however, there are guests before or after you and we only have a short window of time to clean the unit. We will gladly notify you if this option is available, or feel free to ask!
